I pretty much wake up and within a half hour am at the gym working out.
What is the best meal to consume for my workout?
On cardio days I am just going to hit up some glutamine and a drink that has a mix of bcaa's and high gi sugars
My concern is what to eat on the weight training days.
Is it ok to consume high gi before and after your workout or is it best to eat low gi before the workout and high gi after?
If so, then what should I eat? I don't want my body wasting energy digesting food when I am working out. What would work well?
I used to just eat eggs and oatmeal in the past which worked great, but I waited about an hour before going to the gym. Is there something that digests quicker yet has a low gi?
