Hello everyone~
I'm preparing for my second fitness comp. I competed four weeks ago and did well, but my upper body was too ripped and my lower body was smooth. I have two weeks till my next regional and then 5 wks. from the big show. I have a couple general questions.... Any recommendations on how to get my legs leaner without making my upper body so ripped? What should I do for my diet the few days before comp. and the day of? Here is my info..
I am 5'5, 120-123lbs, 10% BF
Lift 4 mornings/wk. ; run 45 min. 3 mornings (empty stomach) ; 30-45 min routine practice daily
Eat 5-6 meals a day
First comp. went VERY lean - boilded chicken 4 times a day, sweet pot. and reg. pot 4 times, egg whites and oatmeal for breakfast, and designer protein and lettuce for last meal.
Since then I have tried to add some fat by just grilling my chicken, adding lean beef, 1 serving of PB a day, 1 serving of Soy milk/day, and 1 fruit a day...... same carbs as above. (Tried to eat more balanced)
I don't feel like my legs have leaned out at all but my upper body doesn't look as ripped (BF has stayed the same and circumfrences)
Before last comp. did ketogenic diet for 2 days then carb loaded night before and morning of comp. Carbs just filled out my genetically freakish abs even more (which wasn't good for Fitness, told me I was to lean)
Sorry so long...
Any input on diet, sodium intake, anything!! would be great!
