What do you guys do for your routines and what type of music do you play?? I have my first contest in Sept and want to get started a little early to get everything ready along with my poses. My routine is 90 seconds and have not been to a contest so I dont know what to expect... Is there any videos out to show people what they can do in routines.. I know you are suppose to show your muscular developement and symmetry during this. IM just a little confused. I just dont wanna look like an ass.

Thanks fellas

its always a good idea to go through mandatoried during your 60 second posing routine but when it comes to the 90 sec ond one make sure you opick music suited to you and use poses suited to your build if yoou have a good back do alot of back poses good abs do alot of ab poses the routine really isn't judged...... thnak god for me lol as an idea what to do buy a video or rent a video of a past contest prefrably a pro pne so you can see what youare suppose to do where do get them that a question i do not know

My first show, I just picked a song that I liked and posed in a circle. Unless you are real graceful and coordinated, I wouldn't try to imitate a pro routine. I'm all white boy, so I just try to go out and have a good time and just hit my favorite poses to a kick ass jam.

I hear ya.. I got 2 left feet. posing in a circle ehh... sounds good to me.. thanks for the advice bro!

Whatever you decide on, just make shure that you could do it in your sleep if you had to. It's a lot different when you are up on stage all alone the lights shinning on you, and the crowd in front of you. Make shure that you can do the routine on pure memory if you have to. Everone hanldes being up on stage differently, I actually had no problems with the pressure, but have seen competetors "freeze up" too. Just pick a routine that you find easy to do, and learn it by heart. Good luck, O.M.G.
