this is a dumb asss fucking commment. cower's record hwen they are up by mor then 10 is like 96-1-1 or something, sounds like hes doing something right. he trusts his defense.... nothing wrong with thatfistfullofsteel said:if steelers lose then blame it on the moron Bill Cowher for getting conservative and trying to sit on a lead.

what the hell does that have to do with your first comment on him?fistfullofsteel said:ok and how many superbowls has he won in the past 14 years?
hamstershaver said:he wasnt conservative at all, hell he went for it 2 times on 4th down in the 4th quarter, a conservative coach would of punted it
any coach that is up by 11 in the 4th is going to start running it more to run the clock out, even more so after his qb gets hit in his throwing arm by a helmet, thats common sense

his qb was hurtfistfullofsteel said:they were throwing the ball all over the place then they decide to stick with mostly the run to run out the clock. that's a pet peeve of mine. if something is working then don't change it up.

hamstershaver said:his qb was hurt
his defense was shutting down the colts
they were moving the ball by running
they were owning time of posession
they were up by 11 in the 4th quarter
what game were you watching?
is this the first year you have watched football?
that guy lost yesterdayfistfullofsteel said:ok and how many superbowls has he won in the past 14 years?
and cincinnati's was betterfistfullofsteel said:i was watching this game. the colts have a prolific offense. as you saw they cut it down to 3 points pretty quick.

lol was that him??????????gotmilk said:The dood was stabbed in the leg last night by his soon to be ex-wife. Did you want him to hurdle the QB like O.J. Simpson running thru an airport?

holy shit his wife cost the colts the game

That was one of the most pathetic game calling by the Steelers with the lead. You are not going to win a championship that way. They were too busy celebrating their win with 10 minutes still left in the game. I wonder if they are already making their Superbowl reservations again like 2001? Make sure they are refundable. You need an actual head coach to win, not a cheerleader like Herman Edwards. Just look at someone like Belicheck or another great coach after their team scores, they put their head down and start talking upstairs about what they aree going to do NEXT, Cowher and the Steelers are to busy rubbing down one another and forget that THERE IS STILL A GAME TO PLAY!
As for the Colts, how pathetic are they? Words can't describe what a "soft" football team they are. Defense wins championships, not vanilla defenses.

Go Steelers! Fuck the Colts those bitches. They got outplayed in everyway and the steelers deserved that game, and the reffing was horrible. i gotta respect the broncos and shanahan but steelers will win it.
As a steelers fan im more scared of the broncos then the colts..... thier defense is much more intimidating. if the steelers contain rod smith then our linebackers should handle the running game and the steelers will win. It will be a very physical game and if the steelers corners can contain thier passing game they will win, if not then it will be a tossup.Lifterforlife said:Nothing more need be said concerning that game. I do however like Denver at home. They are extremely tough over the years at home, in Mile High. Been there a few times myself, it is a hell of a place to play.
Should be a great game.

The steelers are playing the best ball thye have in years.... . Thier defense was always tough but every fan remembers the sinking feeling you would get whenever the steelers would go down by a touchdown..... there was never any confidence in our offense. now thats not an issue. we are a new team and can beat anyone in the league(besides new england) lol

Longhorn85 said:I think Manning needs to learn the lesson that John Elway finally learned. It's not about breaking every passing record in the playoffs. It's about controlling the tempo and keeping the other team's offense off of the field and out of sync.
He needs to learn to hand the ball off more and keep his passing attempts down so when he does throw, someone will be open.
I'm sure Dan Marino, Dan Fouts and Fran Tarkenton would all trade some passing records for one Super Bowl Ring.
