colts are comin back

keep up the big D. Run the clock in the second and watch betis win the game with a td.

my peyton voodoo doll just got stepped on by my size 15! Damn I didn't mean to do that, I just don't think he can recover with a head wound from myy 255.

Why is it that after having the supposedly greatest offense of the regular season (again) the Colts can't even score a friggin' TD?

Same shit as last year.

cincinnati had the greatest offense
and continued to score after losing their QB

white guys have scored 3of the four TDs in this game
don't forget to cover the white guy

im tired of people saying manning chokes in the playoffs. its their o line and defense that chokes. They overachieved all year and they have no depth. When james isnt in they can run at all and harrison gets double teamed just like he always should be

if curtain loses that pete mirelle guy is gonna get alot of death threats..

Now I know who those refs are talking to on the headphones when they make those reviews...

Paul Tagliablue. "Hey Bob, how are the kids? Take another look at that call, will you? Looked to me like he dropped it."

I cant believe Roesthlisberger is only 23

Holy shit, did you guys just see that sandwich in the Lay's potato chip commercial just now. Fuck, Id kill for that right now

i think ben's hand might be hurting worse than we think. Its also funny how the colts secondary had no penalties all year. Thats almost shocking. They've had 3 or 4 in this game. Even with the bad call. Steelers would of been 3 and out likely and the colts would have one less minute

I can't believe that Colts DB let Rothlisberger shoestring tackle him. He had to know that Manning can't move the ball today and his team needed the score.

That's what I loved about Deion Sanders. With him, an interception in the open field = TD.

SHOCKING TD

if steelers lose then blame it on the moron Bill Cowher for getting conservative and trying to sit on a lead.
this is a dumb asss fucking commment. cower's record hwen they are up by mor then 10 is like 96-1-1 or something, sounds like hes doing something right. he trusts his defense.... nothing wrong with that

he wasnt conservative at all, hell he went for it 2 times on 4th down in the 4th quarter, a conservative coach would of punted it
any coach that is up by 11 in the 4th is going to start running it more to run the clock out, even more so after his qb gets hit in his throwing arm by a helmet, thats common sense

they were throwing the ball all over the place then they decide to stick with mostly the run to run out the clock. that's a pet peeve of mine. if something is working then don't change it up.

what the hell does that have to do with your first comment on him?
shit you are reaching now

took the words right out of my hands as i was typing them..

his qb was hurt
his defense was shutting down the colts
they were moving the ball by running
they were owning time of posession
they were up by 11 in the 4th quarter
what game were you watching?
is this the first year you have watched football?

i was watching this game. the colts have a prolific offense. as you saw they cut it down to 3 points pretty quick.

dont understand the offense cordinator of the colts play calling with 7 people rushing against them like manning would have time to throw deep or something. Even in the shot gun and backed up 20 yards they still would of had trouble. Colts need another d end, inside linebacker and another wr. Harrison will be 36 and reggie wayne only shows to play early on

The dood was stabbed in the leg last night by his soon to be ex-wife. Did you want him to hurdle the QB like O.J. Simpson running thru an airport?

lol was that him??????????
holy shit his wife cost the colts the game

From Yahoo news

Nick Harper, whose knee was cut with a knife Saturday in an apparent domestic dispute with his wife, grabbed the ball and headed toward a highly improbable winning touchdown

From a nuetral perspective it was a great game to watch. HOWEVER, the Steelers need to thank their lucky stars they are playing another week. That was one of the most pathetic game calling by the Steelers with the lead. You are not going to win a championship that way. They were too busy celebrating their win with 10 minutes still left in the game. I wonder if they are already making their Superbowl reservations again like 2001? Make sure they are refundable. You need an actual head coach to win, not a cheerleader like Herman Edwards. Just look at someone like Belicheck or another great coach after their team scores, they put their head down and start talking upstairs about what they aree going to do NEXT, Cowher and the Steelers are to busy rubbing down one another and forget that THERE IS STILL A GAME TO PLAY!

As for the Colts, how pathetic are they? Words can't describe what a "soft" football team they are. Defense wins championships, not vanilla defenses.

ABSOLUTELY! god, people are sheep if they dont think the NFL, NBA, MLB doesnt "promote" certain teams "winning" each year. ITs a business. They want to make money. God I hate the Colts.

As many of you know, I'm a huge Bengals fan (lifelong) and although I hate the Steelers, I gotta root for my boy Roethlisberger (he went to my same school). so from a bengals fan to you steelers fan, Congrats and win the motherfucking superbowl.

I shouldn't speak , but I would agree that Tony Dungy should not let Peyton call off the punting unit. But the fact is if Indy would have punted at that point they wouldn't have had a chance.

After the game they asked Dungy about that. And Dungy said they were going for it to Peyton through the headset and the punting team just ran on the field because it was 4th down and that is what they do. So Peyton just told them to get off the field. Nothing more.

no, not really, colts had the #2 scoring offense in the league. seattle being #1. too bad they were so rusty from all the bullshit. or maybe it's cause peyton just sucks in the playoffs. his record is now 3-6.

i think Tony Dungy needs to take more offensive responsibility for the team. They didn't run Edge enough and thus they were blitzed... frequently. Use the run to open up the pass and let the offensive linemen attack the defensive front of Pittsburg

He passed everytime and as everyone knows if someones open Peyton will find them. So the idea is to not let him find anyone... ie blitz

I am seocnd guessing Peyton

im just pissed people blame manning. they need 3 linebackers and anotyer d end and tackle

I think Manning needs to learn the lesson that John Elway finally learned. It's not about breaking every passing record in the playoffs. It's about controlling the tempo and keeping the other team's offense off of the field and out of sync.

He needs to learn to hand the ball off more and keep his passing attempts down so when he does throw, someone will be open.

I'm sure Dan Marino, Dan Fouts and Fran Tarkenton would all trade some passing records for one Super Bowl Ring.

Go Steelers! Fuck the Colts those bitches. They got outplayed in everyway and the steelers deserved that game, and the reffing was horrible. i gotta respect the broncos and shanahan but steelers will win it.

Nothing more need be said concerning that game. I do however like Denver at home. They are extremely tough over the years at home, in Mile High. Been there a few times myself, it is a hell of a place to play.

Should be a great game.

You're giving them 21 points? That is a little over-board you think? But I like the 27 for the steelers though.

As a steelers fan im more scared of the broncos then the colts..... thier defense is much more intimidating. if the steelers contain rod smith then our linebackers should handle the running game and the steelers will win. It will be a very physical game and if the steelers corners can contain thier passing game they will win, if not then it will be a tossup.

The steelers are playing the best ball thye have in years.... . Thier defense was always tough but every fan remembers the sinking feeling you would get whenever the steelers would go down by a touchdown..... there was never any confidence in our offense. now thats not an issue. we are a new team and can beat anyone in the league(besides new england :) ) lol

ya i was pretty happy when new england lost to denver... cause that meant steelers would have it easier if they won...

yea id rather see us have to play the broncos then new england. that team is out of the playoffs and they still scare me.

Very true...

Randle El was tackled before the ball was even there... no flag.
Later he was held when Ben tried to shuffle pass to him... no flag
Polamalu INT... WTF??????
The phantom 4th down false start/offsides/ who the fuck knows because the refs weren't paying attention call.

the refereeing in that game was quite possibly the worst Ive ever seen in any game, anytime

that game was 21-10, the refs gave the Colts that last 8 points

but DAMN Bettis had me screaming bloody murder

Steelers 33-13 over Denver. I think it's going to be a romp.

I see Seattle outgunning the Panthers 41-34.

Steelers over Seattle 24-17 in the SB

At least Dan and Fran made it to Superbowls... I never see Manning making it. He is robotic and uncoordinated. Get him out of the pocket and he implodes.
