Pit bull owners getting what they deserve!

i had to take his muzzle off and have 3 people hold him down while i took the picture, I could tell he wanted to rip our jugulars out the whole time...

... anyone who uses a muzzle had better have it on a bear not a dog.

Huh? I thought your pit bulls were gentle dogs.

Did you read the statistics? Pit bulls are 1-3% of the dog population but make up 50% of the serious bite injuries. You have to be stupid if you don't think there is a correlation.

As I said earlier, I was attacked by a doberman when I was a kid. It was a terrifying ordeal. The damned dog was bigger than I was and it tackled me and chewed my hands and forearms up. That's why people with large, aggressive dogs piss me off. If anybody's pitbull or rottweiler ever bites me I'm going to kill their fucking dog and then beat the shit out of the owner. I'll never understand why someone would want a creature like this living with them. That kid that was killed in CA was killed by his family's own dogs! Nobody should ever be killed by someone's pet. That is just something that should NEVER happen in a civilized country.

Well, every animal has a different personality. My dogs, for instance, are not allowed to play with the neighbors cats b/c the cat bites my dogs noses and give them scars... have my dogs EVER retaliated? NO. They run away b/c they know that violence is not permitted. The schnauser (sp?) next door also pwns my dogs every time. Before we knew that the schnauser was a little terror we left them alone together on a 2 day trip we took... neighbor calls us first day in and is like... uhh.. my schnauser is beating up on abbey... i'm like, are you worried abbey is going to bite him>? Shhe goes, "no no no... but abbey won't come out from under the bed, she's too scared and she keeps crawling in my arms as soon as I pull her out" Plus my (as do most) dogs love kids... having OBgyn's in our family, there have always been visiting mothers in our house growing up ... as a result of prolonged exposure to young children, our dog has learned that it needs to be more patient and gentle with kids. it would never play "tug" with a kid or anything of the like. All I'm getting at here, is that I have trained my dog for all plausible scenarios. Some people skip this step, and it is the reason their dogs act "unpredictably" in situations like the recent little girl. I fully support the decision to put that dog to sleep, don't get me wrong. Human life is valuable in most cases. But if, after an investigation, they found that the parents neglected the animal in any way, I support full criminal charges against the parents. I am confident enough in my animals that I would risk my freedom by taking jail time if they ever did anything... I am that sure of their demeanor. EVERYONE should be.

to conclude, fasttwitch, I think you need to meet a nice pit, so if anyone in your area on the board has one, I think you should swing by and pay a visit. it would work wonders on your p.o.v. GL

My friend's family chow bit me on the leg and I wanted to beat the crap out of it, but I didn't want to offend the family. That dog doesn't know how lucky it was. I waited for a day to get it alone when the family wasn't around, so I could show it who was boss. I never got that chance.

Best way to stop these attacks by trained pits is to beat the shit out of the owner and burn his dog. I was involved as teenager in one of these angry mob lynch session. Was pretty cool to see that fireball running in the middle of the night :D

With a user name like yours, how could a dog resist? LOL ;)

ZKaudio, all of the things you're saying are the same things other "repsonsible" pit bull owners said about their dogs at one time before the dog killed or maimed someone. Face it, it's a wild animal that's big and strong and can chew a person up pretty damned quick. You have no idea what might set that dog off. Nobody has any idea what might set their dog, off even a damned chihuahua. The difference of course is that a pissed off chihuahua (or my favorite, the weiner dog) doesn't do much damage provided it has had rabies shots. Grizzly bears can be gentle loving animals at times as well. But it just takes one instance of it getting pissed or frightened and all hell breaks loose.

If my dogs ever bit, or attacked anybody, unprovoked, it would kill me to do so, but I would put them down myself.

As for the latter part of your statement........... :rainbow:
