At first the dogs headed away from her, then they circled back, attacking.

When she ran out of mace, Perez beat them with her fists.

Plenty of people drove past, came out of their shops and stopped to watch, she said. She estimated 20 to 30 cars passed by during the fight. Only one other man stopped to help them.

I don't care if I would have gotten severely bitten.....I would have made it a point to pick out the alpha, grab him.....and rip his throat out or tear his spine out through his mouth. If alpha goes down, alot of times the others back off. And yeah, I'm starting to come around that aggressive breed dogs should not be allowed in urban areas. They always go after kids too, or women......despicable little fuckers!!!

that owner just didn't control his dogs. you never know, he may have also been baiting them and training them to fight. pit bulls have to have a very strong and knowledgable owner who knows how to handle them. It is easy to blame the dogs, but they are running on INSTINCT, not on ill will. The owner should be punished.

The lady should be commended for fighting off those dogs at the expense of getting bitten herself. It was nice to also see that it was people of different races protecting one another. Kudos to her.

The woman did great though.
The owner is absolutely to blame. I am always amused by the genius' here that blame the dog. That is as ridiculous as blaming the car for the accident.
