We are talking about one aspect of training out of a thousand or more. Don't make it more than it is. Further, no one is suggesting that if a new client is in fact overtraining, a trainer should not inform him of this. The point is that it would be a very rare instance where a person new to lifting would be at risk of overtraining.
I am not making more than it is, I am just speculating on some of the things that happen. I am not pointing fingers at anyone either. If this makes you mad then by all means rant and rave about me speculating. I am not meaning to affend anyone, and if I did I am sorry. I am never meaning to intentionally affend anyone. I was just adding to what you said about "if you were a trainer, blah blahblah etc." That is all.
