My gym is full of HUGE Guys that make me look like a dwarf LOL ;) It is a great gym with new shit but the guys in there are pretty hardcore.

It's Gold's but I think every man and women in there is juicing like a motherfucker!!! We have little shelves where you can put your keys, LOL the other day there were like 3 Anabolic 2000 guides sitting in 3 different shelves. ;)

It's nice though because most people in there have a really good attitude and are willing to help, I believe that no matter how long you have been working out there is always something new to learn, I love learning new shit!!!
 
I've got my own gym at home. Only bad side is u miss out on all the pussy! :p :p :( :bawling:

My gym used to be kewl with lots of roid heads. The pansyass owner cleaned them out and brought in the YMCA crowd, yuppies, young punks, fat women, and old delapedated farts. Ya know the kind, the ones that sign up for 2 yr membership then only go for 2 months. THat is my theory, see free money. You continue to charge people that do not use the facility. The staff sucks pathetically now, roidhead used to be head trainer, now it is some twenty year old chick with big tits and love handles. Unknowleadgable staff sent to APEX training for two weeks, now they preach APEX supplements, well I preach Organon supps. HAHAHA! Can't wait till membership ends and move on over to new powerhouse, were all the juicemonkeys went to.
 
I work out a gym in South Tampa. When I signed up it was the only one there, the only thing even close was a Bally's 25 minutes away.

It is literally full of gay dudes. It was originally opened as a gay gym. Some days I would leave and go back at like 10am when no one was there, and forget about taking a shower!!!!

The dumbbells until a year ago only went up to 100. It's about a 60/40 mix now. About a year ago another gym opened and I was going to switch, but my fiance said she felt more comfortable where we go now( I train here there in the evenings).

The gay guys chatting each other up are annoying, but so what. What really sucks is the lack of eye candy for motivation.

The funny part is now that AS are given for AIDS, you should see some of the gay dudes, they're freaking big- LOL
 
mines the average fitness center but we have a decent amount of hardcore lifters there.
we also have a good share of old ladies, young punks, and lazy asses... but I like my gym for the main part.
 
My gym sucks...full of fags no big guys just "healthy wannabes" this is among my biggest mistakes of my life....cant believe I paid 300$ for a one year suscribe
 
Shit, I think I workout at the same gym as FarBeyondDriven. Fuckin Apex losers. The post signs like this all over the gym....

LMFAO!! So that's a total of less than half a pound of body weight loss in 3 weeks for a BIG FAT ASS CHICK! Excellent results.

I live in the Tampa/Clearwater area. Is there any hardcore gyms that anybody could reccomend to go to?. I work out at the Clearwater Bally's. The free weight room is the size of my kitchen..and it's always 10 degrees hotter than all the rest of the gym.

Depends on how far you want to drive. The only one I know of in the Area is - Power House up on N. Florida Ave in Tampa. There was a place called something like 5 guys Powerlifting or something off Dale Mabry, but other than that I don't know.

Hardcore gym here. Cheap membership and the place is just full of freeweights and dumbbells. I hate those places with aerobic classes, excercise bikes, and stupid fat chicks hanging out sippin lemonade using those step machines at the lowest setting.

Don't get me wrong, I love chicks but I love those ones that work hard as hell and inspire me on that last impossible rep...thinkin about their firm, luscious...Oh! huh...Sorry!

My point is--Lift hard, and get the hell out. That's the way I feel anyways.
 
I workout at a powerhouse and its pretty cool. I dont think anybody juices there I wish there was though, so I could BS with someone about it.
 
My last gym was cool; lots of roid heads, smelled like urinal; rusted weights, leaking roof; resident silver back was a dick though. I switched to a place with lots of kids, elders and fat chicks; very few heads; but silver back is a cool guy--juiced like a mf. :D
 
I'd say my gym is an average fitness center with nothing to brag about. There are a few juicers though which is good cause they're serious about it and have been doing it fer a while.
 
I work-out at a Gold's Gym. There is a couple of cool guys that work out there. The best part is that a playboy playmate works out here. Damn you should see the place when she walks in. Everybody stops working out it seems like just to look at her. I am not surprised that someone hasn't got hurt yet concentrating on her instead of weights. There is also a couple of strippers that come in sometimes too.
 
My gym used to be the most hardcore gym around, now with a new owner it sucks dick. I'm one of the last of the bread that filled it's walls. The new owner hates my fucking guts and I love it. I will stay there just so I ruin his fucking dad everytime I step in the door. He's such a blowjob!!
 
Used to work out at way hardcore gym on Wall Street, which has recently gentrified into a "fitness center" (must have been losing money). Currently work out at Crunch, which I like quite a bit. I'm gay; I feel really uncomfortable in a "gay gym" (smelly old men whacking off in the showers), but I also feel uncomfortable if everybody's really, really, really STRAIGHT and 270 lbs. Crunch is a good mix - some straight gearheads, some gay gearheads, gay gym bunnies, yuppie beginners, strippers, housewives, club kids etc. It's expensive, but good for my needs.
 
The best gym I ever belonged to is Animal House gym in Milwaukee. Loaded with juicers. It was even raided (two times I am aware of).

Now I am at World Gym in Chicago. I think there are maybe two others there that juice. It's clean, but I miss the motivation of looking up to bigger guys.
 
Bad gym, small and fat guys, pitty machines and equipment, no girls, but close to my home ( I dont have time to go to other gym, but I am looking for)

I have worked out in 3 TOTALLY different gyms in the past year. One in the Deep South where there was WWF guys and all sorts of nice decent sized people. Some huge, some kinda big, most "regular" semi big type. Great all around gym. Membership was as cheap as $300 for 3 years! As long as you paid up front.
Then I moved to Ireland, small gym, even smaller people. (No offence, Bouncer) It was $375 a year. It filled my needs. I was the biggest guy there, hands down (for the first time in my life)
THEN, I moved to Long Island...BIG mistake. THESE GUYS ARE UNREAL! I didn't know God made guys this big. Everyone is 250 plus and full of tattoo's. I went from the biggest guy to the smallest in 2 seconds. Hell, there were only 4 people in there late one night and I was still the smallest! (I THINK one was a girl..I'm not sure) So that's my story. I went from medium, HUGE to small in less than a year. Terrible for my ego....but funny. ;)
 
The Gym I'm at is full of juicers too, I'd say at least half.
Not that I mind, but there's not really any "huge" guys there, I'd say 10-15% are bigger than me, 35-40% about my size (around 17-18" arms)and the other 50% the punks with 14" arms.

Everything is on one floor, benches, some cardio equipment, freeweights, etc.
The weights are falling apart, and are bent up all over the place. Goddamn place has no ceeling. There's like 1 or 2 chicks that come in once in a while, but that's pretty much it. And basically everyone is "tough as nails"
(screaming every rep out, throwing the weights on the floor, and just being basic assholes) so what I do is just put a walkman on, do my workout, and try to ignore them.

On the plus side, it does seem to help your intensity when everyone's being as hardcore as possible.
and if there's any gays here, they better keep quiet about it because they'd get their asses kicked out.
And the manager is a cool guy.

I workout at World's gym. Bill davey is the personal trainer, he is big but not as big as some other dudes at are gym, but he is well proportioned he has fuckin hugh calves and big ass traps. He looks quit. My gym is small with decents size guys and a maybe 6 juicers. not really hard core. but nice atmosphere. No teens except now and then. i am the only teen that works out on a daily bases. I think the biggest dude maybe is 240 . if im sure. but this is what i remember. I started goin there for about 4 months now. Its a nice gym. quite, a couple of girls but the fitness time, there decent

My Gym is ok! At 6'3 and 240lbs I'm one of the biggest in the gym....After my current cycle, I "will" be the biggest!!!!!!

We have one pro body builder in the gym and some stupid looking roid monkey that wears close that would better fit a 5 year old....He's a big guy, but must have low self esteem....He's also the asshole that leaves about a thousand pounds of 45's laying all over the gym.
 
well......

the golds i did work out at got closed.....they were like 5 months behind on their rent.....and the cops literaly kicked everyone out......which sucks.....now i gotta decide where i wanna work out......I can stay at the Y........or I can switch to Bailey's.......Go to the Q.....which is 24 hour now........and or THis place called the sports complex.......it's slightly hardcore...it's relaly "just a gym" it's nice though on all cardio equipment they have cd players and tvs......what you guys think i should switch too?
 
I am lifting since 10 years, and I did 7 gyms during that time.

My first gym was SHIT, the second one was a gym for little rich peoples, and ppl were pissing me off
because they were talking business on the bench :mad: , then I went to another gym, wont say the name here
but I just love it, it was hardcore like hell 99% of the members on juice. :D

Right now my gym is quite nice, materials is "good" not for my tastes but, some little things piss me
off : WANNABEES!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to kill them, and 2nd the old dirty bastard flirting everything that is female and young. Im quite unsocial when lifting so sometime its make my session difficult:fro:

My gym is cool....great free weights, Hammer strenght machines...ALOT of cardio. Alot of cool people that come to work out and not sit there on the bench you need talking on there cell phones or using the cables for an hour doing there total body workout (Well there are a couple of those....llol) A couple of cool juicers and a couple of hot chicks with implants that work there asses off, in great shape. Since it's the summer been noticing a lot of teenagers (for a couple days than they disappear LOL).Most of the trainers are cool....only one I don't really like he's small in midely decent shape, but he walks around like he is huge!!. Also every so often (all the time) he gives "free" advice which I hate. The rest are cool they hi...and keep there mouths shut unless your a client. All in all I love my gym.
 
my gym is average i guess,some big guys mainly hot shot punks,i would switch to the new one coming to town but i get my membership free since i work there
 
QUESTION FOR YOU GAY GUYS:

I've trained in gyms in San Francisco and yes, there are a lot of gay guys. But shit, the gay guys put the straight guys TO SHAME when it comes to being HUGE AND RIPPED! A lot of these gays look competition ready--no shit...anyways I was wondering if its due to the use of recreational AS or if its due to prescription GH for AIDS?
 
I go to 24 hour fitness, the one nearest my house, they seem to be everywhere here in California. The one I go to is huge and only cost me 12 bucks a month (long story) just a few 10-15 guys on gear, some real, real serious!!!
 
Who cares what gym you work out at. Most gyms have the same shit anyway. Why does anyone care who goes there. Its not like your going to a night club when you go to workout. Ive been to many gyms and get the same workout at all of them. This poll is stupid. Thats just my 2 cents
 
hardcore gym...golds...but its MOSTLY free weights..and some hammerstrength which is the best line of machines in my opinion.
Some juicers...a couple that I cant stand (you know the ones that wear yellow and black alternating line spandex or turqoise tank tops....fucking disgusting.

MY GYM SUCKS. MY OLD GYM WAS A BUNCH OF GEAR-HEADS, BUT THERE WAS NO PUSSY. NOW I JOINED THIS NEW GYM WITH ALOT OF PUSSY AND NOT ONE GUY (WELL MAYBE 2, IF THAT) ON GEAR. NOT TO SOUND LIKE A FAG, BUT I'D RATHER BE AROUND PEOPLE WHO SHARE SIMILAR INTERESTS WITH ME. WHEN I WORK OUT, I DON'T LIKE TO STAND OUT LIKE LIKE SOME JUICEHEAD (I'M NOT EVEN THAT BIG, BUT PEOPLE CAN TELL I'M ON SOME KIND OF DRUG). WHEN I WORK OUT, I LIKE TO BE AROUND PEOPLE THAT I CAN TALK ABOUT GEAR WITH. RIGHT NOW, PEOPLE LOOK AT ME WITH TWO HEADS, I FEEL VERY OUT-OF-PLACE. AND AS YOU ALL KNOW, HAVING PEOPLE AROUND YOU THAT ARE BIGGER THAN YOU PROVIDE MORE MOTIVATION.
 
My gym sucks ass!! Alot of yuppie fucks standing around holding the walls up and sitting on the machines. Pisses me the fuck off! The only reason I stay is because its right around the corner from the crib.
 
Hey good thread there big guy. I lift at the aquatic and fitness center in my town here in New York. It's an average gym with many gear users. Their a little more discreet though, they don't pop a-bombs at the water fountain or sniff ammonia before each set. I can't stand the woos's that come in with their tight spandex and talk about lifting their pussy chrome weights at Bally Health Club. I lift at Golds every now and then. Everybody there is jacked up on roids.
 
my gym is at home,its got pretty much everything a gym needs,the only thing is i miss is getting a great workout and notice that i'm being checked out by the other members!!! oh! an the babes too i miss em also!!!:bawling: :bawling: :bawling: RADAR
 
my gym orders me supplements at cost/lets me tan for free....has all the weights I need and enough mirrors and good lighting to admire myself...did I mention I was banging the personal trainer there for 4 months too......yeah I like my gym :)
 
The local Gold's ran us out because the candyass owner said we made too much noise. He didn't have the balls to tell us himself, so he kept having his skanky 19 year old bimbo manager hassle us. Right, like you can set down a 600+ deadlift quietly. They also said that the women were intimidated by our lifting. I did some checking and found that he had not received a single complaint. Fuck him, we left. He lost eight of us and eventually at least a dozen more when he tried raising the rates.

24 Hour Fitness has been great to us. We can use chalk as long as we clean it up, and they let us make some noise. There are only about four of us hardcore lifters in the gym; the rest are fitness people.

We just wind up shaking our heads watching the so-called trainers telling people to never bring the bar within four inches of the chest when benching, or to never squat more than a good five inches above parallel.

The 19 year old bimbos are cool though...:p
 
Im in college and work out at the school gym. Its alright, we have the serious lifters, some guys that come every once in a while, then the peeps that come in right after new years b/c of resolutions (that usually only last about 2 weeks) and same goes for the girls coming in two weeks before spring break thinking they can lose 50lbs b/c they arent eating anything. It really pisses me off b/c the gym is packed with people who dont know what they are doing and arent serious while I have to wait 15-30 minutes to get a freakin bench or squat rack. Oh well, I guess I can deal with it since I dont have anyother choice.:rolleyes:
 
It's Golds they have good equipment, but i go and work out at 7:00 in the morning because otherwise it's like a fucking social gathering to go talk shit at,people standing five deep to get on the smith machine, man that pisses me off, or better yet you have 20 plates on the leg press and you go to take a piss and come back and someone has pulled everyone of them off, thats enough to make you go insane!

My gym is pretty weak. Bells only go up to 120lbs. pussy is great though. not too much muscle in the place though. Kind of a bummer when you need a spot and you look around and relize nobody there can lift the weight off you if need be.
 
Pure Fitness franschise is like Amway

In no time my gym went from cools to fools. It was taken over by this franchise called Pure Fitness. The trainers are only cetified through them. All they do is try to shove Apex Supplement down your throat:mad:
Then to top it they pushed out the top trainers in the gym and brought in their own cronies. My ex GF is one of the top trainers in this gym. Men and women from all over to train with her because she gets everyone where they want to be. F'n Pure Fitness said the only way she could stay was to raise her rates from $35/hr to $64/hr with 50% of profits going to Pure Fitness. and that's before taxes. So that way she's put on the same playing field as the PF croines in the gym. which means her credentials don't mean a thing. They know she has over thirty clients too.
Plus that gym has some serious religious overtones going on with their sales tactics. They've also brought in the Super Dyke aerobics instructors. They hate the men in the gym but love to dress like them. Most of the clients are people who just lounge and homestead on one piece of equipment all day.
 
My gym is decent, nothing hardcore, but it's got everything you could ever ask for... It's above average. The hot women and morons doing stupid stuff make the minutes between sets fly by.

Gym I go to is "OK". Good equipment, big free-weight area. BUT, they play fucking "pop" music all the time cuz theres too many old people there that bitch about the music. MAYBE 2-3 guys juice.
 
I go to the University gym. Huge free weght area and the chicks are unreal, god bless sorostitutes. I'd say 50% of the guys juice but only 5% do it right. The place is great and free. Nice to be a student at a huge school.

I go to a YMCA with a bunch of yuppies and fat old ladies, there are a few kids there that are definitely on the sauce, but I don't know them.
 
Powerhouse Gym Illinois, western suburb of chicago, Great equiptment, handful of cool bros, some guys train hard. The rest of the place can eat shit and die. Crap attitude and shitty form, oh yeah, the music blows to.:mad: :mad: :mad:
 
I go to LA Fitness, and for a fitness club its pretty damn good. All new machines, some really hardcore lifters. Unfortunatly there are the slackers and old bastards and lately the "New Years Resolution" Folks. But I can complain for $32 a month, way better than my old gym.
 
I have been a member at my "health club" for 5 years. Here is what its like :

there is a lobby with big leather sofa's and chairs. And a cardo kickboxing class, bike riding classes, pretty much a class for every pussy ass activity...yoga,etc. It's mostly old rich people that come here for the tennis, raquetball clubs, spa, sauna, and to die here. there are annual wine tasting events and things of that nature. basketball courts. The one good thing is that there are plenty of fine women to talk to. 2 of which work at the snack bar and make me food and mix my protein drinks after working out. And the gym is pretty fucking nice. It like golds, except imagine a gold's inside a family health club. As far as juicers, with the exception of me and my 4 liftin bro's not a chance. There are a lot of sherrifs that are huge. And some firemen. Other than that we get a lot of bad looks , and whispers ..."oh my god, that guy is disgustingly big...must be those steroid things...." stuff like that. Oh ya and the dumbells only go up to 120..very frustrating.
 
I train at my schools 46 million dollar training facility. It has two pools, a rock climbing wall, a whirl pool, jacuzzi, so much cardio equipment, and about 8 indoor basketball courts I have to stand around for all the little puke heads to get off the equipment, cause they all wanna get big, and they all go to the gym at once. But i hope for their health they stay and train. But i know once the parties start they will stop coming. Other then how crowded it is, it's very nice.
 
I have three available for my use. One had to cost an incredible amount of money. I never train there. One is an average gym, but it has a power rack and a platform, as well as a couple of benches that I can easily move if I need to, and I train here occasionally. Normally, I train at home. Nobody bothers me here.
 
My gym blows - more than half the members are over 50 and female. And you know they all have to wear make-up and tight ass draws when we all know they shouldn't even leave their homes. All the others who attend are to say the least amatuers(amatuers = those who've seen a gym, have seen the cover of a Muscle & Fitness mag, and have thought about working out....once). But what makes it worse, is the light sounds of classic rock...shouldn't be called rock as much as classic.
 
As of now I use a university gym but where I worked out back at home kicked ass. It a 24 hr gym where you got a swipe card to get in whenever you wanted. its location was a fucking warehouse, garage doors and all, on hot summer days we would open those things up to air the place out. Dumbells went up to 225 i think it was. There were about 15 machines and an endless amount of weights and ebnches and racks and leg presses and etc. The music also kicked ass, it had a cd palyer where you bring your cds and blast what you want if someone objected it was settled peacefully. Id say 50% of the ppl in there were using. The only thing the gym lacked was some hotties. There were only 3 treadmills a stairstepper and a few other aerobic machines in a little room off to the side. so even if thedre were hotties you didnt really see them.
 
I go to (2) Gold’s Gym on is hard core, not too hard but about half are juiced.
The other has about half juiced, but they have neon lights, racquetball courts and the entire floor is cardio equipment.
 
24 hour fitness here. It's the shitty active club. Theres no pools, basketball or racquetball courts.

I like it though. It's pretty simple. Has an area for stretching. Nobody is ever there. Has a little room for leg equipment. Has two squat racks, a power rack, two leg press machines, a smith machine and three calf machines. Nobody is ever in the leg room. Someone keeps taking the bar from the power rack though.

The free weight area is medium sized. Dumbell goes to 120lbs. There are four flag benches, one decline, two incline barbell benches and two dip machines. There are some cables and a little area for curlers. Then theres the whole upstairs area. The upstairs area has all the cardio equipment and a bunch of machine weights.

This place is a change of pace from my old gym: LA FItness. LA was much nicer, but people there seemed to go for social reasons. I once saw this guy corner this poor girl and forced her to talk to him for a good hour. I was upstairs on a treadmill. She was literally backed up onto a machine. She looked so uncomfortable.

Anyways, this new place I'm at is fine. It's a total piece of shit by most people's standards, but I like it. The only qualm I have is the lack of good bars for deadlifting. They're all smoothed out and hard to grip.
