What does everyone think about Decline Bench Press?... I have only ever done this exercise a handful of times in the 9 years that I've been working out. I've always thought that it makes your pecs look like girl boobs so I've avoided it. I've recently started to noticed that my pecs could probably use some decline BP...

Is there anyone else here who doesn't do decline BP, or anyone who can tell me why I should probably start doing it? And should I do this exercise every workout, or every other workout, or what?

Right now I usually do flat bench, incline, and flys(Cables, pec deck, dumbells, etc).

That is a TOTAL myth.. dont fall into the bullshit crap about how declines give you girly pecs. What a crock of shit. My chest exploded after really hammering my pecs with dips and declines. I personally think they hit your pecs harder then most exercises people do for pecs.

:D:D
Theyre #1 in my book.

Declines, aside from being a great ego booster, seem to work the pecs more directly then other presses. Most people will tell you, if you want to take your delts out of a bench press, you should pull your shoulders back, and arch your back. Basically putting you in a decline position.

Should I do decline every workout?...

As it stands right now... The only exercise that I make sure I do every single workout is flat bench dumbbell press (Never do bar cause it aggravates my shoulders and elbows)... Should I be making sure to do at least a couple sets of decline dumbbell press every chest workout, or just at least every once in a while?

I can't stand decline barbell presses, they do nothing but aggrevate my shoulders. Decline dumbbells on the other hand... they do nothing but blast my chest.

I think declines are great. Especially if you haven't done them in a while, you'll probably see some results from hitting them hard. An underated lift IMO:D
