Excellent article and spot on. Karma.

"What women perceive as a "fear of commitment" is really nothing more than a pragmatic assessment of the odds facing men in the prospect of a marriage."

Everytime I hear that 'fear of commitment' line I just want to throw up.

Yeah, its not commitment we fear, it the wrath of hell!!! Not hell hell, but womens hell, much more fearful and grimmer than hell hell.

Typical female responce.

LOL

If you knew me you would know how ironic your statement is...

I have no desire to get married, breed and doll face I have no need to have a man treat me like my daddy did (once was enough thank you very much - I'll make my own way so I don't have to listen to anyone's whinny ass) and I am all for the pre-nup.

I just get so sick and tired of listening to men and women cry about choices THEY made in the name "LOVE". Take some responsibilty for your own damn actions and stop torturing the rest of us that don't care.

Yep, he's got the ladies banging down his door. HAHAHHAHAHAHA

He's 21 - yep he knows all about the world.

I know too many couples who got married because it was expected of them. Now if they are still together it's just in name only. They stay together for the kids, and because what other people might think. Hell I even know a couple that have stayed together because of their business. They're a lot of fun to be around.

Like velvett said, get married for the right reasons and it might work, get married for the wrong reasons and it will fail.

laying down hints? more like laying down a mine field with a 1-mile radius in all directions.

Take your time bro. You have a lot of good yrs ahead of you. I have been talking to a lot of women in their 40's (along w/doing a few other things lol) They are able to look back in their 20's and see how crazy they were about getting married. They all pressured a guy into marring them bc their friends were married etc. They all said what big4life said about they just lived together untill they eventually left bc they felt like they missed out on things (things = a sexy beast like me)lol

But, just take your time. I know your girl is better than the average girl.

Maybe this will help change your mind....

SOMERVILLE, Mass. (Reuters) - A mother's deathbed confession led police on Thursday to a dead body in a storage locker freezer, and officials said the corpse may be that of the woman's husband whom she murdered more than a decade ago.

The woman apparently told her children as she was dying that their father had not died in a car crash as they thought but that she had in fact killed him and that his body was in a rental storage facility in Somerville, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.

Family members then contacted police, who searched the facility and found a large freezer wrapped in duct tape and giving off a strong odor. Inside, they found the remains of what they think was a man.

Local prosecutors said the man may have died as a result of a domestic homicide that took place more than a decade ago in California. The body was thought to have been shipped from California to Massachusetts, where it has been in storage since at least 1998.

Middlesex District Attorney Martha Coakley's office did not identify the woman, who has since died.

Coakley's office said it would contact law enforcement authorities in California as part of its investigation.
