Ok, last night before I went to bed I weighed myself (with clothes) I was at 171 and FULL of water, I drank about 2 gallons yesterday

This morning I was 161.8 lbs

So DO.... NOT...... rely.... on.... the.....scale

:D

LOL

I'm the same way.

THe biggest challenge w/ a self-pinch & the calipers is trying to do the back of your tricep. For that reason alone I have "trained" one of the trainers at my gym to help me get the 7 pinch sites. The digital would probably be easier fromthe standpoitn that you don't have to try to reach around and read what the "analog" caliper says.

If I can't reach my tricep, do you have any other recommended sites for doing the test?

The 3 point & 7 point pinch calculations I've seen all rely on the tricep measurement. That's where I'm suggesting (and Shadow may be able to attest to this that it can be done) that the digital caliper may be easier IF you are able to get the caliper around a skin pinch without actually using the other hand to "pre-pinch". Then the reading should display long enough that you can bring the caliper over in front of your face & read it. You can't really do that w/the "analog" caliper.
