Obsessive Eating Habits

JOin the club!!!! My whole family rags on me but I cant help it. Im genetically made to be a huge fat ass unless I work really hard and eat VERY clean!

I worked at Ruby Tuesday and those colossal burgers rock..what I do now is go there and sub it on whole wheat bread no cheese or mayo and change the beef(which is fairly lean compared to alot of other "fast food") to bison or turkey burgers no french fries sub with rice or broccoli....soo good.

Do you know what percentage beef they use? It looked pretty lean like it was around 90%. The only place that's ever let me order a medium rare burger. Awesome. Had some blue cheese crumbles on the side too.

Cheating is BAD :p

Although a nessesary evil for my own sanity :coffee:

No, "cheating" has a place in a diet. :)

Not to mention if you eat a 1000% limited & optimized diet - guess what ? You discover you can no longer digest certain foods anymore - e.g. when I pull dairy out of my diet. "Cheating" has a place. I think little ripples in the overall ocean of "fitness" are good to keep things working. If you don't challenge your system, it won't be able to respond.

LMAO -- ever hear of the "Weider Shock Principle"? (Ok so its for weight training, but the concept is the same...)

LOL!

oh yeah... well that is impliemented alot in my diet... well i guess i over analyze too much as most BB [enthusiants] do.

Ok, so my cheating meals are ok.... the weight of cheating is lifted.

Thank you :rose:

P.S. Now frequency and amplitude of them is a WHOLE other thread :lmao:

:lmao: Love those Weider principles. Instinctive training, giant sets....Mr. Weider and his brother invented all of those didn't he? j/k :) They even had a supplement in the early 90's called Shock Treatment with Lou Ferrigno on the box. I think it was these blue and red amps that you break open and drink. :)

Yea good ol' Joe & Ben. What a pair. You gotta give em props for probably being a part of every future Pro's first step into the arena....

*** Edit --- I had to add this image because it made me laugh ***

And I dont' know if its true, but its certainly possible given that Ronnie C. is now like 39 yrs old.... Picture this at the 2006 Olympia:

Interviewer: So, Ronnie, You've just won your NINTH Mr. O title. You've broken Lee Haney's long standing record and set the bar for bodybuilding. How did you get started in this sport?

Ronnie: Well, you know, I got thstarted in bodybuildin' when I bought my firth Weider Dumbbell Set and thtarted pumpin' th' weighths like Mr. Weider thaid in his Muthle & Fitness magathines way back ina day. Then I got real big and dethided I wanted to be Mr. O.

(Ok Ronnie doen't lisp but he's got that Texas accent and we all know how he sounds when he says "Everybody wanna be a bodybuilda, ain't no one wanna lif' no heavy ass weights!")
