oatmeal

I either have it with lots of cinnamon and splenda or I mix it up really thick and put it in my protein shake to give me some extra carbs.
 
I eat it plain. What's the point of adding sweetners. All you're doing is upping your sugar content.
 
I cook it in water, when it's done I add a lil skim milk to loosen it up, plus splenda and cinaminn
 
I take it plain with just water. I typically have it M-F around 11:00 A.M (between breakfast and lunch) at work. Because of that, I don't put other stuff in it - otherwise I probably would.
 
1 1/2 cups, have a bananna, a few crusted walnuts and a few rasins.....mmmm mmmmm good! Two cups of black coffee and an hour later im in the head and "right as rain"!

They add in some much extra crap in those packets, better off getting the raw quaker oats oatmeal and adding whatever in yourself.
 
I buy mine by the pound usually cheaper than Quaker Oats pkgs. Prepare it with water and cinnamon. Just about when it is about done and still boiling, I add currants. These are dried champagne grapes so are much smaller than raisins. They are tarty in taste and add even more fiber to your oats. You won't need to add any sweetener for taste either. Once cooked after turning off heat I add flaxseed oil 1 teaspoon per cup of serving.
 
i buy the instant shit in the envelopes and eat it right out of the envelope dry. I chase it with water.
 
1/2c oatmeal
1 1/4c water
2scoops chocolate protein powder
touch of spray butter
tsp splenda

What is that smell......? yeah that's right Cocoa Wheats boys and girls, man that stuff used to be good!
 
Anyone just kinda have it raw?

I used to mix it raw with yogurt, and it wasn't bad.. but I've moved and the yogurt here is kinda weird so it doesn't mix well.
 
In a blender 1 cup egg whites, 1 cup oatmeal (store brand - cheaper) - 1 banana, 1 scoop protein powder - drink.
 
i do like Pamela, i have it with egg whites. i usually do 1/2 cup oats, about 3-4 egg whites, then i add cinnamon and a bit of vanilla extract and splenda. if i have a craving i'll add 1/8-1/4 cup almonds, also maybe 1/4 cup raisins.
