Novacek predicts "The Girls" to end the Colts perfect streak

You all can't handle the truth. Colts bow out again in the first round of the playoffs, whenwill you all learn the Mannings are gag artists.

really? so manning lost that game? or did he finally have an off day and his D couldn't back him up?? yeah, I think that's what happened. They still scored like 14 points right? Against the cowboys that should have been enough......but like I've said the last couple weeks, that D is no good......will not get them through the playoffs. But look here nutz.......point fact, Tom Brady could not do down for down what manning does....and that's not a rip on Brady, NOBODY does what manning does. But DEFENSE will always rule the NFL......you at least have to have a defense that can stop one aspect of an opponents game, which the colts D cannot. All they have is one pass rushing specialist who WILL get to the QB sooner or later......and that's what the colts bank on. Not gonna work. They cannot expect to win a super bowl based on manning outshooting everyone. It's completely unreasonable to base your whole gameplan on your QB scoring EVERY possession......it's nice that happens ALOT with the colts, but somewhere along the line they're going to have to be able to either stop the run or stop the pass......or some reasonable mix of both. Come playoff time the best D"s in the NFL come to play......you can't expect manning to put up 30 plus points on them. Brady would not have won a SB in NE without that awesome Defense......PERIOD, no discussion.

nice analysis
same situation for Palmer and the Bengals
a team I've been loyal to since I lived in cincinnati '89-'92

this is why the bears will rule the NFL this year
I wouldn't bank on it 'NFL history is litterred with "undefeated" supercharged teams going for the quick
the NFL lives based on your last 4 games
even less really
I don't care what color your helmet is
I want to know what you did the last 4 weeks

I agree with that
Football is ALL about momentum
the team that wins the superbowl is almost always the team that hits the playoffs with the fullest head of steam

and who stays the healthiest....that is HUGE!@!!!

picking against the spread in the NFL is tradionally reaaly difficult
cause you like a team matters not

and I'd take a big ass quick thinking 240lb nigger with the speed to dual jobs
than this urlacher cake
heh
buying into the hype the white boy crap
any big NFL mentality nigger owns urlacher

agreed
I beleive there are other factors that way in however. I for one do NOT agree with completely resting players @ the end of a season once playoff postion has been established

having played high level college football I can say that it is EASY to lose your rythm in a week. I think that was Indys mistake last year personally

well except if you're armed with montana and rice
I was watching that superbowl thinking it's 4 down terrotiry now
always
I think the final was 52 to 26 or so
Rice and Montana were unstoppable
charger only hope was to advance the ball to TD even if it took 4 downs

I actually agree here......I love urlacher from an athletes perspective, he is a big white boy who runs as fast as the fastest, if not faster.....and he's one of the strongest linebackers, if not THE strongest, in the NFL. But he doesn't have the brain to put himself where the ball is "without" resorting to his athleticism. Because of that he's always shaking off lineman.....and no linebacker can have that happen every down. Ray's ability to get in the path of the ball before lineman can get a bead on him is what makes him great. But even ray's game has gone down a bit since goose and adams left. If the bears line can let urlacher go free.....the bears might win it all.
