NORML to sponsor new Marijuana Truth Ads

Who use to do the Truth adds? I thought it was NY's mayor Bloomberg.

NORML used Mayor Bloomberg for one of their ads, much to his displeasure. But seeing as how it was a legitimate quote with witnesses and his political office position, he couldnt do anything about it. I believe the ad had his picture and next to it his quote which was something like "Yes I've tried marijuana, and I enjoyed it". If I can find a pic, I'll post it.

"Truth" ads are the anti-cigarette ads, which I agree with totally. Cigarette smoking is a major problem in America. It's much more harmful on the body than marijuana (although propaganda would have you believe otherwise) and cigarettes have been proven to be more addictive than Heroin. Also another factoid, pure nicotine is more deadly than pure cyanide, look it up if you dont believe me.

I find it funny the S. General recently quoted that Herb(1 Joint) has 3 times the tar and nicotine than 1 cigarette.....My thoughts are quite simple on this....Most heavy smokers will go through 3 packs a day, that's 60 cigarettes....Have you ever seen anyone smoke 60 joints in one day????

The letter to prosecuters will serve as the 'centerpiece' of the campaign. I'd imagine billboard ads and TV & Radio spots would probably be included also.
