Hey guys! I did the Arkansas last Satruday, I don't have any pics that turned out worth a damn. Too far away and fuzzy, that kind of stuff. Anyways, I got 3rd in the open superheavies and 3rd in the novice heavyweight. Hopefully I will get some better pics from the Missouri on August 6th. I honestly don't have anything worth posting, kind of disappointed. It was still fun though.

Awesome bro.... They'll post pics in the Southern Muscle Mag in a few month's. Some of those guys you went up against will probably be my competition at the Southern States. What were your stats bro? Height Weight bf% etc...
Since we have no photo's give us some insight into how it all went down. What were your weak points and strong pts? Were you dialed in completely or did you miss the mark by a smidge? What changes if any will you make for Aug 6th?
Bro we all need to post our results that following week. There are three Elite bro's all competeing on the same weekend: yourself, me, and Borg. Best of luck player? :)

Well done SB.... :) Your old pics speak for themselves anyway but try and get some good ones on the 6th....
Congrats again
Ed

Thanks guys! I appreciate all the love! My color was off at the show, I am gonna use pro tan this time instead of competition tan by jan tana. I will also start my carb-up Wednesday instead of Thursday, I think my body has a hard time filling up when I drop water and add carbs back the same day. I was 211 Saturday morning! I was 223 2 days earlier. I think I was too dry and flat. My wheels, abs, and shoulders are definitely my strong points. I am definitely looking forward to the Missouri August 6th. I get to see my brother Borg throw it down too!

Bro, next time you JUST GOT TO GET SOME PICS! When you get old like me and your body starts falling apart, you'll want pics to remind you of your glory days. You'll also wants something to show the grandkids.

SB our strong pts are very similiar however my abs could use work and my back is really really strong, thank god. Same shit happened to me at my first competition but worse I was 228 on Wednesday and then I stepped on stage at 211lbs. WOW I was flat and didn't carb up right. I still won but I felt like a lil bitch. All my competition at that show had no legs, or thye did'nt have any definition in the legs. Boo Hoo.
Good luck brother looks like you'll be ready for this show.

Side note to all the recent bitching on the boards. Myself, SB, and Borg are all competing and I don't know about them but I'm Halo'd out, with Tren, Clen, T3 Var Win and Drol and while yes from time to time my patience wears thin it seems as if we are all handling it very well. Guys were all on the same team wish each other well, but most importantly stay focused and don't let the haters get to ya.
Now wheres my Filet at and dam it can Saturday get here fast because I live for my high fat/high carb day. :)

That was ausome. Wish I had some extra flow for filets. Id be cumming all day just like Arnie!

great placing, wish I could see some pics

Sly, I feel you bro! I was only on 37.5mgs of tren a day and now I'm out of that. I am gonna try to get some halo to get me to the sixth. My mood is decent I guess, as much as it can be. My heart really isn't in this upcoming show, it will be my last. I am done with drugs. Other things are more important to me now. I never thought I would hear myself say these things, it's very strange. It's not that I regret any of it because it has been awsome. I have a girl that I want a family with now and I have found religion. It is almost surreal saying these things, my life has totally changed in the last month. I'm doing this show for my family, that's the only reason. I will always be passionate about the gym and bodybuilding, I just want other things now. My body is no longer the focus of my life. I mean no disprespect to anyone by these statements of course, I have just changed.

You'll always be well respected around here bro - stay true to your priorities in life.

Congratulations. :)

There's nothing wrong with third place. Some people I have judged year after year and all they want is to be called out in the top five. Nothing wrong with where you are at - great job and maybe that first placing is just around the corner at the next show.

Now, get dialed in and get some pics up here.

Take care.

I have nothing but respect for you...no matter how your goals change bro.

I really appreciate your support guys. I never would have imagined that my life would have changed in the ways it has and how my priorities have changed. All I know is that I am excited about all of it. I will still be around here posting it up! Thanks for the love fellas!

Sounds like you're looking pretty good bro! Congrats on the progress! You can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Just wait till you step on-stage it feels incredible! I'm at 230 right now. I haven't been strict on my diet because I stayed lean after the show on the 16th. I just don't want to go flat. I obviously have to stay tight with it now cause I'm only ten days out, I'm afraid that with no androgens in my system I am gonna soften up. I will have been clean for 2 weeks by the time the show gets here. I was barely running anything anyway, I guess it's just the mental aspect of it.

Wow, im feelin really sick right now, stomach is queezy, head is real stuffed and I didnt even hit cardio today, first time in 16wks. I am forcing food down as we speak so hopefully ill recover.

Hang in there bro! Try to stay the course as much as possible, but if you need to chill out do it. Nobody knows your body better than you do. We are almost there dog!

Glad to hear that you're feeling better bro! I think we are staying at whatever the host hotel is.

Sounds good to me bro! I was more nervous at 3 weeks out from my first show cause I was thinking I wasn't going to be in shape. You won't be nervous after you carb deplete and load and realize that you are ready. Hell, I practically ran on-stage last year. By that point you are ready to do the damn thing. The intense part is the pre-judging, after that it's all decided and you can just relax. You will get much more comfortable after your first round of pre-judgings. It's a big relief to have it done. It's a great learning experience. By the night show you will just be excited to do the damn thing! To me if you don't enjoy that then you shouldn't even be competing. That's the fun part. The hard part is the diet and the dehydration. Stepping on-stage should be the fun part!

Having never done a show before what do you guys normally do after it is all over? I mean the celebrating and all and you head back to the hotel, do you atart eating and drinking water or just go to sleep or what? I have always wondered after all your hard work and dedication is rewarded with a placing and everything, how do you unwind and reward yourself?

ATTENTION EVERYONE:

THERE ARE SOME GOOD MUTATED BORS ON THIS THREAD. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THESE ORBS ARE THE SICKEST OF THE SICK, THE SWOLEST OF THE SWOLE AND THE HARDEST OF THE HARD. THEY ARE SO BIG AND SWOLE THAT GRAVITY WORKS OVER TIME. I COMMEND YOU ALL. THE BEST OF LUCK TO ALL YOU MUTANTS!!!!

Holla,

Eat and drink for this cat. The liquids are better than the food to me at that point. Not drinking anything for 24-28 hours is brutal. I'm gonna sip this time though. At that stage you aren't gonna spill that quickly. I'm not gonna put myself through that shit for no reason. I think I look better the day after so I'm gonna just go with it and see what happens.

Great job bro! 3rd is a great accomplisment, especially your first time out. As Arnold would say, "Fantastic!" And speaking of Arnold, that's who's in Ed's avatar :p

Yep, I totally agree, it is absolutely miserable not drinking anything for that long. I won't do it again. If I was a pro and it was my living that would be different. I'm not gonna kill myself for a state show in the novice category. Somebody else asked earlier. There were 12 in the heavyweight novice last year.

You can tell by the quality of information you post that you know your stuff when it comes to BB. Can't wait to see the pics. Anyone who gets up on stage and does their absolute best has "won" in my book regardless of where the judges put them, but 3rd is an outstanding result. Well done Bro!

Thanks Riverrock! I appreciate the props bro! It is a lot of work. I am definitely ready to have this last show overwith. I am so exhausted today that I can barely stand up. I hate feeling like this. I am on my 3rd day of carb depleting and it is definitely taking a massive toll on me.

I SECOND THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1600 cals for the day is yucky. Not to mentioned bone dry boiled plain unseasoned chicken 24/7!!!!

I hear that bro! I started my carb up today. I have already punished about 500g's of carbs. I feel so much better. I usually start my carb-up on Thursday, but that seems to be too late for my body. I am starting 3 days out this time. I might spill, but I won't be flat. My condition isn't good right now. No androgens, no hardness, not good.

Awsome job. Its hard as hell to get good contest day pics...bad angles, glare, fuzzy...Try to do some outside in a park with a nice backdrop on a sunny day around 1200pm till 200pm...wear sunglasses so you are not squinting.

Q.

Quad, I take it this isn't your first rodeo! It is tough to get quality pics, whether you are too far away, or the lighting is bad, color is off, not flexed, etc. It's a zoo.
