I met this really cool bro at the gym hes going for his degree in fitness and he seems really knowledgable. I told him that I do 3 days on 1 day off and he said thats not enough time for my muscles to recoverf .. Ive been using this routine for the past year and quite honestly I have seen some pretty god results. But i feel like ive hit a plateau so its time to switch things up a bit..
Heres what his routine looks like tell me what you guys think...
1 excersise = 3 sets
1 set = 6-10 reps
Monday : 5 Excercises Chest, 3 Biceps, 2 Shoulders
Tuesday : 30 minutes Cardio, Abs
Wendsday : 5 Back, 3 Tris, 2 Shoulders
Thursday : 30 minutes Cardio. Abs
Friday : 5 legs , 1 - 2 shoulders, 3 Forearms
Saturday, Sunday, Are supplemental, I through this in he didnt tell me this but I figure if I feel I didnt hit a body part hard enough I can go back and hit it again. Also Abs and cardio dont really take that much out of you so I figured if Im getting a little to bulky I can substite these days for that...
