Went with some people from work to a little dive for lunch, a Mexican grocery/bakery/taco stand place. My carnitas burrito was great, and the tomatillo sauce had a nice after-burn. Next time I'm having the al pastor burrito.

Just for Mitch! Lmao

I package of Lean Ground Turkey
4 Green Peppers
1 can of chili peppers
1 can of Rotel (original flavor)
1 can of petite diced tomatoes
1 package of taco sauce--add water
1 cup of brown rice
1 cup of grated cheese

Cut peppers in half and boil for about 10 minutes.
Prepare rice

Meanwhile, mix all other ingr..except for cheese...when rice is done, add that.

Once peppers are done boiling..(be careful..very hot) Cut in half and place in foil lined baking pan.
Place meat mixture into and on top of peppers.. then add cheese.
Bake for about 25 minutes..
That's it!

I guess you could but with everything else I never saw a need. Plus most marinades are high in sodium resulting in water retention.:worried:
