Hey man - I think I remember you saying that you snuck chalk into your yuppy, chalk-fearing gym that doesn't allow it on deadlifts day. My gym's the same way. What's your method of sneaking it in? Do you put some in a little plastic bag in your pocket and then break it out right before your set? Do you bother trying to wipe it off the bar with a towel when you're done?
I alternate weekly doing dls with and without straps. This week I did them without and by my 7th and 8th reps, my grip seems to be so sweaty that I think I'm fighting the bar slipping out of my hands more than it seems my grip is giving.
