Reposting this from an eca thread I made, but I think it's a whole new problem so I'm gonna post it here.

I've been taking it for about two months now, and after experiencing first rapid weight loss, I'm kinda stuck now. I went from 292->242 relatively easily, but I find myself stuck at the same weight for multiple weeks now even though I do 50 min of cardio 6 times a week.

I'm only taking 25mg of ephedra daily, and I really don't know whats wrong. Idk if my body adapted to the ephedra or if it is just the plateau I hit from losing so much weight already.

If anyone has any advice on what I can do to keep losing 2 lbs a week I'd really like to hear it.

I currently weigh about 236 on an empty stomach when I check in the morning before I do my cardio.

Also, I should note that I did not take the ephedrine for 2 months straight, there were a few weeks where I didn't take it because I was sick and I also had two dentist appointments in that span where I didn't take any those weeks cause I didn't want the ephedrine to mess with the novacaine.

I'm looking for any advice that will help me effectively lose weight at a decent pace cause I'm only really looking to drop to 220, and I'm 6'4.

Whats your diet like?

Also have you changed your routine lately to shock your body? Have you had some high cal days to keep your body from adapting? What is your lifting routine like?

This is a double post again, but I'm going to stop posting in the other thread since this has nothing to do with eca.

That could be it. I do 50 min of biking everyday. As far as lifting, I'm just starting to add 3 days of lifting at low weight/high reps. Calories, I can eat about 2.5k calories but I'm usually around 1700-2000 and lately I've been sprucing in some 2500 calorie days. I would also like to add that I hate running, so if you have any suggestions for me if you can work around that fact that would rock.

My diet really varies too, I live in a dorm still (1 more month of that crap) so I eat as best as I can but I do what I can to eat about 2k calories in the healthiest way possible.

Sounds like Diet is now the main issue. Also I dont agree with LOW WEIGHT/HIGH REPS. You need to still lift as heavy as you can and try to stay in the 12/10/8 rep range. If you go low weight you WILL lose strength and most likely muscle as well.

What is your average break down of meals in a day? Try your best to break down your average day for us. Also what is your bf% at?

Basically, I wake up and do cardio on an empty stomach.

8:30 - Protein Shake
9:30 - Breakfast - 3 Egg whites, 1.5 Cup Cottage Cheese, Wheat bread

^^ Thats about 680 calories all together and that is really the only thing I do consistently everyday in terms of eating at same time, same food.

The rest really depends on what day and what is being served.

Typically I will eat a Turkey/Swiss Cheese or Tuna on wheat bread sandwich with baked lays chips around 2 PM, doesn't happen everyday but it happens a lot.

I'll snack on 2 tbps of ANPB sometime between that meal and dinner (no set time really).

Dinner is the huge issue cause the food is absolutely crap in my cafeteria so the time and what I eat ranges a lot. If they serve chicken breasts I eat em and stuff like that, but that is a once a week thing if that, I don't have access to that kind of food all the time.

I know that I don't eat very clean diet, but if I only ate clean I would starve and be stuck at like 1000 calories a day. The school cafeterias don't care bout health and shit, just serving us food at their cheapest price.

As far as averages i would say...

Ave Cals-1700-2200
Ave Protein-100-200g
Ave Carbs-100-200g
Ave Fat-50-80g

It really isn't constant, I was just looking through my logs and there are days where I'll have 1800 cals - 240g protein - 70g carb - 30g fat and then there are days where I have eaten 1900 cals - 110g protein - 220g carb - 70g fat. I am out of school in a month and I know that once that happens I plan to start swimming and I'm going to buying all of my own groceries and eating a much more stable diet.

1) drop that ephedra crap

2) eat 3-4 times a day. good stuff. sandwiches, water, apple, crackers. Get used to that. You'll never go hungry and you'll still have a caloric deficit.

3) GO TO THE GYM (knew i was gonna say it huh?!). Start off power walking, jog. Do 30 minutes of whatever speed is comfortable. Make sure you leave the workout area SWEATING. If you're not sweating, you didn't work out.

Do those 3 EVERYDAY.

Your body will get used to it, you'll have more energy - and since you have a lot to lose -- give it a year before you start really looking in the mirror.

Remember losing weight is all in the mind. If you sit in the sofa and say 'ah screw it, don't need the gym - i'm ordering a pizza' - you become nothing more than a product of your bad decisions. And you're also kissing away 10+ years of your life on this planet.

So don't sweat. People have been losing weight for thousands of years. It's not rocket science. Just a positive attitude and a burning ungodly passion to lose that weight.
