I have this weakness for cheesecakes, I can demolish a wholle cheeseck all by myself.
If anyone on EF knows or has a recepie for low fat high protein CHEESECAKE............pls pls pls....
Thanks:)

just add a protein powder scoop to cheescake mix.
I believen musclemedia.com had recipes for ppl that can't control cravings. Basically it's usually the normal version of the dessert plus protein powder. But the recipes are there. Sometimes it's with more eggwhites / eggs.

Many low-carb sites have a recipes. "Lynne's chocolate" is another famous low-carb dessert.

I think you can use Splenda in place pf sugar, natural (no guar gum) cream cheese, and eggs if you like them in your cheesecake.
Don't use the mixes--they taste dreadful.

You don't need any crust to bake it.

Instant Low Carb Cheesecake

This requires a little work, but it's worth it.

Grind about 2 cups of raw almonds to a fine consistancy in your blender.

Mix in some splenda and enough melted butter to make it stick together.

Press mixture into a pie pan and bake at 350 for about 10 minutes (til lightly browned).

Back to the mixer - (these amounts are estimates of what I've used, feel free to experiment)

1 8-ounce package of cream cheese
1/2 - 3/4 package of sugar free vanilla pudding mix (Jell-O brand also makes white chocolate flavor)
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Blend well with a mixer and press into your baked pie shell. Chill thoroughly.

I have a better recipe for real baked-style cheesecake, but I don't have it handy. This one is quick and takes care of the craving.

Or, go to http://www.trulylowcarb.com
Karen Rysavy has some free recipes and a great low-carb cookbook.

I make a zero carb (as in none, nada, nothing) cheesecake recipe, but I have never heard of a low-fat, high-protein.

I can give you the recipe if you are interested. Yuuummmmiieee...

I love cheesecakes too.

Don't know, but I have a cheesecake recipe book from Philly. Would have to think that using the no-fat cream cheese, and egg-whites instead of eggs, would probably work.

Now you've got me curious. May give it a shot this weekend.
