My best advice would be to read the sticky at the top "How I lost 50 pounds in 5 months" and come back with questions. It has a lot of good information on both diet and exercise and is a great tool to learn the basics of nutrition (much of which is based off Venuto's Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle which I would recommend you to buy as well).

Don't be offended but it is ridiculous for you to even consider using drugs at this point. Once you have diet and training down and have made some progress, at that time you MAY begin to consider that. Your goal of 2 months to lose 40 lbs is not realistic either. Even if you were able to lose 5 pounds per week, you would be losing more lean muscle than fat and would turn into a fat "skinny" person. Not to mention the detriment to your health with that much weight loss in a short amount of time. You should set monthly or bi-monthly goals, and a goal of perhaps 5 or 6 months for your 40 lbs.

I wasnt even sure this was a serious post...

Drugs? dude you need to get your diet and training in check for a good couple years before even thinking about the stuff. If you cant handle eating and training like youre supposed to, youre def not going to be able to handle AAS like you need to. Plus they dont do anything for you if you dont have the first 2 things in place.

Buy Burn the Fat, Feed The Muscle, its the best investment you can make. Read all the pages, take notes, study, eat right and train hard. BFFM will work everything out for you.

Now get to work.

Im not offended by any ones post at all. The reason why posted was because I wanted to know what every one thought. and thank you for every ones input. Im going to pick up bfffm and read it and see what I can get from it. I also did start reading the 50 in 5months sticky I see that he worked very hard on that so I will take some of his advice. Now my other questions is eating is there any good diet that any one would recommend me using. I work 6 or some times 5 days a week. So most of the time I get some thing on the go is there any way I can get something on the go that would be good for me or should I just start making things at home

Find out your BMR(google BMR and calculate). Add 400ish calories(Around 2400).

Eat 30% of your calories from protein, 50% from carbs, 20% from fat. Lean proteins(chicken breasts, lean steak etc. No deli meats.) Complex carbohydrates(wheat, oatmeal etc) and ideally fats from fish oils.

Run at least 4-5 hours a week.

If you are deadset on taking stereroids then you need to read ALOT. Find as many articles and read. Talk to as many people as you can as well.

Dude,

Read BFFM, it works out the diet, workout, food choices, timing, workouts, and EVERYTHING. Its even laid out tso you can find your body type, workout a diet and training program and even chart your progress. If you cant get in shape after reading BFFM then you need serious help.

Start there then ask some more questions when you have your basics covered. Then there are tons of people here that will help you with the details.

Tom Venuto must love this site - everyone here recommends his book!

And I remember buying it earlier this year, and after reading it, you DO learn everything necessary for success.

Yeah man,

Do a search for any scam, bashing, or negative websites about his book....i spent 3 days trying to dig up something and couldnt. Some people tweak the diet and say his meal planning isnt great, which doesnt make sense because he says his plan is guidelines and to tweak it to fit your own individual needs. I think its the best resource for beginners and even intermidiate people that need to get back on track and cover some things they may have missed. The first chapter alone should be read over and over by everyone at least once a month, just for the brain reprogramming and motivation :-)

You lads are great

Hello and Welcome :)

There is a lot of information and people on this site that will be able to guide you so that you can achieve your goals.

I also highly recommend Tom Venuto's Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle.

As you are also quite new to bodybuilding, if you want to skip five years of silly mistakes, and also start off with some of the most effective workouts, I would also highly recommend both of Nelson Montana's books, Bodybuilding Truth and Bottomline Bodybuilding (I like this one better).

The drugs you are asking about are called performance-ENHANCING drugs for a reason. They will only enhance, they are not going to do it for you.

If there was a drug out there that would magically transform everyone into lean and muscular gods and goddesses, don't you think everyone would look great?

Some people take all sorts of drugs and still look terrible.

Some people take no drugs and look great.

The secret, it's training smart, with intensity on a consistent basis and having a sensible diet. AND genetics.

You will not learn any of that if you rely on drugs to make up for any shortcomings in your diet or training.

They have their place, and it will be up to you to decide, but just answer this first honestly, have you really made the effort with your diet and training?
