Need a light workout ?

Hi all.

Can Anyone give me ideas for a light upper body workout ? I mean sometimes I'm really tired, and don't want to do a hard & heavy session,

but do want to feel like I had a good workout & still get the blood into the muscles -

Any ideas ? what amount of sets & reps, and what weight can I use for a light workout ?

Thanks !!! :qt:

Nobody can give you are workout for when you are tired. You need to listen to your body and do what it tells you to. What is a good workout for me when I am tired, may be too hard or too easy for when YOU are tired. Listen to your bbosy, it tells you what you need to do.

Do what you usually do but lighter weights, higher reps, smaller number of sets.

I agree with all the ladies so far...

Make sure to listen to your body and take a break if you need it... I think you said before you tore your ACL... I wouldn't want you to hurt something else by pushing too hard :rose:

Another option is to go to all cable exercises for whatever body part or just do a full upper or whole body circuit training style work out. Or, just take some time off & do a pilates class or somethign that is more "holistic".

I'd recommend pilates. The Winsor series is pretty good and there are a whole bunch of tapes that target different areas of the body, so that's what I do if I'm not in the mood to really hit the gym but want to stay active that evening. Also, low impact core work may also be a good alternative.
