Hi. I don't have much knowledge in this area but need much help.
I used to consider myself an athlete. I ran the mile within 5 minutes and after that i'd run another. I had an excellent body much confidence and the feeling of youth and manliness. I wanted to do sports for a living.

well i'm not sure what happened and don't want to get into it but now i have a 50 inch waist and weight almos 300 pounds. Well I just don't feel like a man anymore. Very few people feel like men with so much bone fat and my balls and penis just aren't what they used to be. i swear that's not my bag.

i am interested in taking hormones to regain my youth and manliness.
please instruct me or give me links to read. I am interested in becoming leaner, losing fat, becoming longer and thinner, and increasing penis size. It is important for me to regain my wand.

I am 22. My bones probably haven't completely fused. Any information on hormone therapy now and waiting after my bones fuse would be appreciated. i don't mind growing another inch if there are benefits.

thanks for any help.

The biggest tip I would give you is to fix your diet and then go from there. 300 lbs. you have to be eating like shit...

Just a word of encouragement from someone who's been in your position. You CAN improve your conditioning, and you most likely do NOT need to mess with your hormones, particularly at age 22.

In the past 10 years, I've gone from being 235 to 235, wherein I've lost about 50 lbs of fat, and gained about 50 lbs of muscle. Weight training was a valuable component, but nutrition was the biggest component of my success BY FAR.

I would recommend you looking into the Body-for-Life type nutrition program, or something similar. It's important to realize that you're not going to "go on a diet", but instead you're going to change your lifestyle to adopt a new way of eating.

General rule: eat 5-6 smaller meals per day, with protein and low glycemic carb with each meal. Eat good fats, like vinegar and oil dressing on greens, avocado, small amount of nuts, flax oil and stuff like that.

Combine good nutrition with exercise, and your body WILL respond. If after 10-12 weeks of genuinelly good nutrition and good exercise, your body is not responding, then go see a doctor to see if there are other issues. My guess is that you could easily lose 25-30 pounds in 10-12 weeks with clean diet and exercise.

Regarding exercise... try easy cardio at first, like walking on a treadmill or exercise cycle. Use the calorie counter on it for relative measurements. Who care whether you're actually buring X number of calories, at least you want to burn more than X each next workout. Use it to gauge relative progress. Combine the cardio with circuit weight training as your body starts to tone up. After 3-4 weeks, you can start to hit the weights more agressively.

I want to encourage you. You CAN improve, and you'll be extremely proud of yourself as you see what you can accomplish. Remember, you didn't get to 300 in 1 month, so you won't get back to 180 in 1 month either. But be diligent, and in 1 year, you'll be amazed at your progress.

Good luck!

Nice. I hope he takes your advice. Diligence. A good word.

Why would you *guess* this happened? Poor eating? no physical acitvity?

I dont know what your weight was before, but i cant imagine it was that much if you could run a mile. So, say even 100lbs in a few years is a lot. It couldn't hurt to go to a doctor and have some bloodwork done to see whats going on.

I agree with DOC. Hit the diet before touching any hormones.

IMO ... eliminating simple, fast sugars is the key. Start getting all sugars and flour products out and bringing in more meats, eggs and veggies. Lots of water too.

Keep you exercise program simple with lots of rest.

You are holding a lot of water with the fat and you need to release it (urination).
