AM: PULL-A session - first pull session of the week.

Today was my 4rd week back going through a full range of motion on all my pull movements. Total load is extremely low as you can imagine - it will be a very slow processes over the next 6 months.

Bicep still quite tender, to the point I may need to back it down a touch for a few more weeks.

All and all feeling good and trying to be patient.

@Yuri1 Looks really good, man. Full range of motion is good news. Make sure you keep the mobility in your elbows and in your forearms, you keep them loose.

@Yuri1 sorry to hear about your bicep. seems like its a tough muscle when you start getting micro tears in there.
 
Thanks bro, yeh I think I was getting a bit ahead of my recovery tbh - I’ll take it back a notch for a few more weeks - my bicep already feeling weak from this am session
@Yuri1 bicep might have a little tear. its a good idea to give it a chance to heal or the tear will grow
 
This is 13 weeks post surgery today.
I have not been able to do any real push moments since the tear happened in Mid-November (no chest pressing moments, overhead pressing, ect… over about 5kg)

Range of motion is almost back to full this week,

Wednesday - LEG-A session, first leg sesh of the week, quad focused.

👉 Only work sets listed. All sets taken to a 1RIR today. Simple on paper, but with a major focus on execution.

👉 Load is quite low post injury, as with the rest of the body. But slowly progressing.

👉 Still in a caloric defect, so juts doing what I can to hold muscle until push phase shortly.

Seated ham curls
4 sets

Hack squats
2 sets

Leg press, quad focused.
3 sets

Abductor cable.
2 sets

Quad extensions.
3 sets

Standing calf raise.
3 sets.

Friday, and this morning work out was the second pull session for the week PULL-B - I took it extremely carful today as my last session I had tweaked my bicep on the same side as my torn shoulder tendon.

I avoid movements and added some rehab for it until it’s completely recovered.

Friday, and this morning work out was the second pull session for the week PULL-B - I took it extremely carful today as my last session I had tweaked my bicep on the same side as my torn shoulder tendon.

I avoid movements and added some rehab for it until it’s completely recovered.

Yeah I’m also surprised that the fullness has come back so fast, my right arm was less then half the size not even 3 months ago because of the atrophy

Right now focusing on well executed moment patterns is my goal - I’m hoping a nice rebound of growth will come the moment I add some calories back in 😂😂

Yeah I'm a tad surprised with the whole recomp so far, I think it because I’m getting stimulus to the muscles after not having any - but the low cals dosent have me feeling recovered or fuck all energy day - to - day

I’ll probably start reversing next few weeks I’d say 😂
