My house got robbed and they took everything of value that was small, but they did'nt touch the big stuff like Home theater equipment because it was too big to carry. They did take check books and other papers. Check your papers. Check your checkbook asnd make sure all the check numbers are there. They take one from the middle of the book so you don't notice it. They also may have just written down stuff and took it, but the people who robbed me were true professionals. Yours sounds like a homeless guy. Big difference.
