. ...i benched 240 at age 17 b/w 163 at i.p.a nationals in ohio on november 15th2002........i went to down to mikes (mules place) and talked to him for a couple of weeks and decieded to give it a try....so i took out my double denim inzer and went down there for my first workout and already just having a personal best at 240....we did 225 last warm up and on the shirt went.....and loaded the bar to 245.. i knew i could do it.....they had faith in me.....screaming and yelling getting me fired up......music blaring in the backround.....couldnt ask for a better situation "i thought to myself they have faith in me so im gonna show them what i can do" i brought the bar done crushing each rep .....only doing 3's so we went 20 pounds heavier to 265 and i got 2 reps.....then for a couple of weeks i just did lots of rep work and board presses.......the beast of the bench came up and i did 275 just missing 300 at the lockout.......so i trained my ass off in the gym and 2 weeks later i did 305-2 everyone was so proud of me....and i would never let them done........
