MRP or Weight Gainer???

Im at a calory deficit almost everyday. I dont have the time or resources to prepare lots of food everyday, so should i begin taking a weight gainer and is there a difference between "weight gainers" and "meal replacement" powders?

what do you guys recommned?
 
Weight gainers are loaded with simple carbs...sugars...LOADED! MRP shakes still typically have sugars but not nearly as much as weight gainers. If you're just looking to get an additional 500 cal during the day, I'd say a good MRP would do you well...although I can't suggest a "good" one. Otherwise, why not add a couple tablespoons of PB and a couple ounces of flax oil each day. Very quick to just take a gulp out of the bottle or dip a spoon in the jar...good fats, quality calories.
 
I don't have time to cook a lot everyday either. That's what Saturday or Sunday is for (at least for me anyway). It usually only takes a little while if your "Foreman" type grill is big enough. Chicken on the grill....then whatever else you can think of.
I got a steamer for christmas, and I can do rice or veggies in it.
Plastic baggies, and plastic containers are a must. The thing I carry to work that has my food in it is filled to the top and frighteningly large (well...to normal people). :)

i agree with Jobu. use a protein powder with some PB, fruit, or both. it's cheaper, healthier, and tastier. if you can't do that, go with the MRP, but definitely pass on the weight gainers. They're like eating donuts, except they don't even taste good.
 
try the metrx MRP peanut butter with some skim, touch of splenda, heaping of flax and some crushed ice...thanks me later.......you need the carbs.........or you could do oats, pb and whey.........

bro- tell me you don't swig flax oil straight from the bottle?
