or what???? i'm going out for 4 days this weekend.... leaving in about 3 hours.... we'll be hunting a plot with a very high buck population, and i've seen a VERY big boy back there twice, he'd indeed by a trophy, we'll see if he responds to a rattle or two =)

I am heading to Michigan U.P. on monday, I think the rut will be going up there too. Is it going where you are at (Ohio?). I sent out my tree stand all ready. I have to hunt rifle so I am taking my 25-06, I figure it will do the job. Good luck!

yup its definately in full swing up here.... saw a big 8-10 pt on my wa home right by my house at noon today, definately trialing something...

then went over to my buddies house to sight in and seen 3 does, being followed by a decent buck.... i'm pumped! off to bed now, gotta get up at 5 am
