milk good or bad?

I'm the sorry but that anti-milk link is BY FAR some of the stupidest bullshit I have ever read. If milk is an instant recipie for obesity, then why is the anti-milk clown who wrote this a triple-chinned slob? His notion that IGF-1 in milk will contribute to obesity and cancer not only is incorrect, but even if it did, the minute amounts of IGF-1 in milk cannot survive the digestion track. This misinformation is religously biased garbage. If you think milk is evil, then learn to enjoy your 140lb body.
 
With all the bs they say about milk I know I wouldn't have gained what I have with out it. Its like the main base for my food. I drink a gallon a day of whole milk. My chol. levels are fine and I don't get fat. I am howere going to switch to 2% on my next cycle. LONG LIVE MILK! What BB from the past didn't use milk?

I could give two shits about what arnold says. His "encyclopedia of bodybuilding" is not worth the paper it is printed on. The man was a genetic freak who was both overtrained and overdrugged, but at the end of the day, genetics are what set the great ones apart from mere mortals.

For nearly everyone (except those with lactose intolerance problems), milk (either 1 or 2 percent) should be the cornerstone of any bulking cycle. It is very, very difficult to consume the amount of calories nessecary for growth from just solid foods. Milk combined with a protein powder is almost essential in any anabolic regimen. Lactose is one the best forms of carbohydrate out there and milk protein is one of the only non-meat sources for a complete, biologically usable protein, (which soy is not).
 
Very good debate, I feel like I have all of the milk knowledge I will ever need. Milk, like a lot of other substances will affect everyone differently. One thing that I have found is a lot of different products in moderation good, a lot of one thing regularly,bad. Do you guys remember when Muscle and Fitness had an article about the hazards of eating Tuna. I have seen so many articles that tout different foods being bad for you. A lot of the effect is determined by how good of shape you are in. Your internal organs functions better, absorb better and eliminate better when you are in shape. Milk does have it's advantages, just like all of the other foods that will kill ya. I heard that dirt was good for you the other day.
