M1-9 am- Still eating - 1/2 C oatmeal w/splenda,1 c coffee,4 oz boneless skinless chicken breast,1/2 C strawberries. Ok so I was gonna have eggs this morning but I gotta get this chicken gone before it goes bad on me and besides it's good. LOL 1 liter water + vitamins + supps

I am losing my mind here. I got in the shower this morning and got out dressed ect. I had my hair wrapped in a towel and took it down to comb it and realized I forgot to rinse out my conditioner. LOL :eek2: :xeye:

It's going very well. I've just relaxed more about my eating and now I'm doing much better,who knew. LOL

Tuesday,2/28

Well on the way to the gym last night we got a huge scare. The roads were not to good and the bridges were icey. Well we were going on really well and went around a turn and seen up ahead that cars were stopped. On the highway mind you. We start to slow down and hit ice and slid,I was scared so bad I almost peed my pants. So we get stopped all is good then I look in the rear view mirror and see this big ass rig making it's way our way in our lane. There's the fear factor again. I"m OMG OMG OMG please please please please stop. It gets over in the other lane,of which we can't get in b/c of traffic so we are stuck. Then this car comes racing our way not slowing down and hits the car about 30 feet from us. OK! WOW Missed us! We finally get in the other lane and found out a truck hit the cement wall,bounced off it and had both lanes of traffic blocked. There were no cops there yet so it just happened. When I got to the gym I ran to the bathroom!

M2 - fixing it now will be eating around noon - 4 oz broiled chicken breast,1 C green beans,french fries - These are delicious- 5 oz sweet potato cut in half and then keep cutting into strips, I put them on a cookie sheet sprayed with non stick canola spray and then lightly spray the potatoes. Toss in oven @ 350* and bake until golden brown. I like mine a little crispy. YUMMY! 1 liter water.

Ok he was a small guy but that's not what I'm talking about we all start somewhere. It was how he was dressed. He has on a baseball cap on backwards with a shortsleeved sweatshirt cut off at the waste making it a belly shirt and a pair of cut off jeans shorts with a pair of combat boots and toob socks. He was doing some bicep work and would stop to admire himself in the mirror rubbing his biceps and then looking around to see if someone was looking at him. It was some sight I tell ya!
OMG!!! Too funny! Belly shirt, huh? Which "team" is he on?!?! lol

M4-6pm- I made a yummy yummy dinner last night, the kids liked the chicken but tried to get out of eating the pasta. :rolleyes: Here's the recipe...

It's from the eating for life book by Bill Phillips:

Baked Chicken Parmesan

2 egg whites (I had to add more for 5 people)
1/3 C Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs (ok so I used WW homemade bread crumbs I make myself and keep on hand,I'll post the recipe for these when I'm finished here)
4 Tbs- reduced-fat parmesan cheese,grated,divided
2 portions spinach pasta
1 C low fat (I used low fat low sodium) pasta sauce
2 C baby spinach leaves

Preheat oven @ 400*
In a medium mixing bowl,beat egg whites with a fork until slightly frothy. Then,mix breadcrumbs and 2 tbs of cheese in a pie plate (I used a small desert plate and it worked fine)

Dip chicken breasts in egg whites and then inot the breadcrumb mixture,coating both sides.

Lightly coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. Place chicken breast on the baking sheet: bake approximately 12 Min. turn over and bake approximately 12 more min. until chicken is no longer pink in the center and coating is golden brown.

While the chicken is baking,prepare spinach pasta according to directions on package.

In a small saucepan warm pasta sauce over med. heat.

Devide spinach leaves between plates (the recipes call for 2 but again adjust to fit your family)

Layer portions of warm spinach pasta and bake chicken breasts over spinach leaves top with pasta sauce and remaining cheese.


**to make your own bread crumbs**

These are so so simple and don't take long to make.

Ok get some 100% ww or whole grain bread. Make sure it's 100% like stone ground wheat.

Just put some slices on a cookie sheet and toss in oven @ 350 or 400* and let bake until hard and crispy. Take out and break up in pieces and put in blender,food processor or food chopper until you have smooth crumbs no lumps at all. Put in a mixing bowl and add some Italian seasoning and mix. Just add however much you want. I add 2 to 3 tbs to mine. Store in an air tight container and keep in fridge.

Wow March already!

I woke up this morning very very hungry. I tried to wait and do Cardio on an empty tummy but couldn't.

M1- don't even remember what time I ate-1/2 c oatmeal,4 ew,1 e,1 C coffee,1 liter water,oh and 2 slices turkey bacon,+vitamins + supps.

I also wanted to pass this recipe I made for hubby this morning. It's really simple.

5 scrambled eggs (3 egg whites, 2 eggs)
4 slices turkey bacon (now you know why I had some this morning,smelled so good,LOL)
1 serving of low fat shredded cheddar cheese
1 ww tortilla

make the eggs and turkey bacon.

I heat up the tortilla a little to make it easier to work with

Lay the eggs and bacon in the center of tortilla and put cheese over it. I do it like this bacon then eggs then cheese and roll up, first ends if you want it completely closed then the sides if not just do the sides and enjoy. I served it with 3/4 C sliced strawberries. HE ate it up in no time and wanted more so I made him one more. Then cut him off!! LOL
 
I know this is gonna sound weird but ya'll should be use to that from me. LOL

Ok since I have started really eating clean and not doing any kind of secret cheating to sabatoge myself I have been peeing more. Is this normal. My water intake is the same so I don't think that's it,has it happened to any one else when they seriously changed over???

Sounds yummy... Copied that Chicken recipe down and I will have to make that one!
 
You should post that in the morons at the gym thread over of the Weight Training Forum, about the belly bicep boot guy... that's hilarious.

Glad you are ok as well.

& I pee every 15 minutes so I can't comment about your increased urination. I would say yes, your body is cleaning things out but I can't provide any medical research as to why/how etc.

Seated calf raised (this is the first time I've used this machine and I like it)-70/20,20,20
and I did the pelvic thrusts with the barbell oh boy did I get some weird looks. so I started out with on the bar to get use to them and the movement with having weight on me so I did 45/15 then added 20 lbs 55/15 then add another 20 lbs 65/15. I could feel the burn in my glutes and hams thanks!!!!

Cardio- well it was busy last night well only the cardio machines were and I wanted to get on the cross trainer but they were busy soooooo I took what was opened. I did 40 min of the recumbant bike warmed up for 5 min. Then did steady quick for 10 min. Then went quicker to maintain peak heart rate for 3 min then slowed down for 2 then repeated took a 5 minute cool down. Got off the bike and my legs felt like rubber!!! LOL

I can't believe it's already Thursday!


It's rainy and gloomy out today,it's going to go from the 60's to the 20's today. UGH!

M1-8:30 am -1 C cream of wheat, splenda and 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein mix, 1 liter water ,1 c coffee, + vit + supps

Ok so I'm hitting a problem here........ I cant seem to get eggs down now. They start to gag me after just a couple of bites. Maybe if I get some egg beaters it will be different. Or I'm gonna have to play with this to come up with some new recipes for breakfast using eggs. My fats are really really low this morning. Sooooo I will probably eat some almonds or something soon.
 
I know what you're saying about eggs, after awhile even the thought sounds yucky! How about adding a little meat to them?
When i was a kid my mom would put tiny pieces of bacon all through my scrambled eggs :p i loved it that way. But you could sub out a less fatty meat and try that. Or maybe a little cheese on them? Or just google egg recipes and i'm sure you'd find something yummy.

Glad you posted up the process for making breadcrumbs. I haven't been baking the slices first so that's why I get a ball of mushy bread instead.

As you can probably tell from my other posts, I'm not that good in the kitchen......

Ok so yesterday was a really busy and bad day here. I had to go back to my gyn,having some problems. I ended up being there for over 2 hrs. UGH! Then I was late picking up my oldest 13 yr old from school to take him to his dr's appt for the check up on his foot. He brings a friend of his out with him running to the car. I'm like oh great. Not in the mood for another kid to be at the house tonight. But whatever I was running late and didn't have to time or patience to argue with him. So I had to take the kid with me to the foot dr. FUN FUN!! But at least he can now join his team and start practicing a week late. I figure when I go to pick him up this evening from practice he's gonna be dragging and so so sore tomorrow. LOL Now I can turn the tables on him,he's always teasing me when I get sore from lifting. If it's my legs he makes fun of how I walk,says I look like a have shit my pants (but not in those words). WHen it's my arms or chest he will poke me or something else anal. Now it's my turn to torture him!!! :evil:


So on to my day I finally get home at almost 5 pm. I went and had my cheat day yesterday. I honestly didn't think I was going to be out that long. And picked up some KFC ate a very small amount of food and was sick all night. My stomach hurt,I got a headache from hell,and felt funny all night. Now I'm paying for the cheat in other ways! :worried:

So lesson learned! Plan for the unexpected or else pay for it in other ways!!!
 
Friday,3/3

Well temps fell and we are having flurries now. I got up this morning and sat down with a cup of coffee trying to wake up and blinking to get my contacts damp so I can see. LOL And I hear on the news about a town right next to us called Salem is destroyed. A bunch of the buildings there burned down,started last night around 10pm. They called off schools for today,and are now investigating the fires. So sad this town is very old and had alot of older antique type buildings there.

M1 - protein pancakes, 1 apple sliced. 1 liter water.

I love watching my dogs they are so funny at times. My sib Keshum now can take off running full force through the house and when she gets to the kitchen she stops dead in her tracks and will tip toe in. For the longest time she would run in and do a split and slide across the floor. Princess would look at her like stupid ass. LOL

Now that reminds me of a funny thing last night. I was in the living room and Keshum is in one of her normal playful moods. Poor Princess is just like whatever in the evenings. LOL But I started barking at her in a weird bark and making some weird dog sounds. I know I sounded totally like an idiot but she's sits so calmly and listens to me and then starts doing the same thing. It was so funny. I wish I had it video taped.

He even use to HIDE in the closet :) His name was Gabby, lol he 'came with the house' when my parents & I moved back in 6th grade. Guess the old owners didn't have room for two, so took the 1, and after he ate my moms new couch he was all good. :)

I was feeling icky the whole day yesterday,and very tired.

M2 - 4 oz chopped up turkey breast, 1 C green peppers diced, 1 C romaine lettuce chopped up, 1/2 C grape tomatoes, drizzled with a little bit of light Italian, 1 liter water. I ate as much as I could of it got most of it down. Made sure I was drinking tons of water.

I think my total for the day was closer to 2 gallons than one,trying to flush my system of all the bad stuff that go piled in there from the other night. UGH!

M3- same as m2- I made a double batch so I wouldnt have to cook for a while. LOL

M4 - Ok here's something yummy (if my body we in the mood for yummy foods :rolleyes: ) I took more turkey breast and cut it up and added brown rice (all this is leftovers by the way), green peppers, onions mixed it up and at it.

M5 - usual yogurt, added a scoop of protein powder, 1 oz almonds


My workout was so so, My strength was ok but my stamina sucked....

We got there late due to the kids doing things with their friends so I didn 't get to any cardio.

Wow had a busy weekend here. Visited with my enlaws for a while yesterday. Had lots of running to do for the boys. And we worked on the outside of the house and cleaned up a vehicle that is to sold soon.


Now about the boys, Ok my youngest is 10 will be 11 this summer. He goes to this pre-teen dance on Friday night with one of his friends. He comes home and tells me that he danced with this girl that is his girlfriends bestfriend and that now the girl likes him and wants to be his girlfriend. I sat him down tell him that it was not a nice thing to do dancing with his girlfriends bestfriend like that and now caused trouble between the friends. He said I know mom but it was just as friends so it's no big deal. I said yeah maybe not to you. THen later his girlfriend calls and is in a big rant over it all and he tries to tell her it was nothing. HE says so are you still mad at me,she says duh what do you think. THen my little man says well then bye. And hangs up on her. He signs online and this other girl won't stop iming him. He gets off the computer and goes in his room to watch tv and his girlfriend calls him back and tells him she's no longer mad at him. OY! :worried: Is this gonna be what I have to look forward too!!!!!!

Then I find out my oldest has 2 girls on the line. One he's seeing at a girlfriend and the other I have no idea. He talks to both of them. I'm like where in the hell did you 2 get your ethics from walmart! OMG! So I had to go into the talk I've had with him before about how it's not fair for the girls to be done this way. And that if he wants to be like that he needs to remain single and not be a dog. He said I know mom but I'm not dating the other girl I said ok so not the point. THen went into how it's not right keeping this other girl hanging with hope if you are not going to give her the time of day. SO it told the girl and stupid girl says ok well it's ok. Uh hello WTF!

Why are girls letting boys use them like door mats at such a young age?!?!?!


M1- egg bowl, 5 egg whites, 1 egg, 1 serving lf cheddar cheese, sliced mushrooms,peppers, onions. All scrambled up and dumped in a bowl YUMMY! 1 whole grain english muffin to eat it with for some carbs. 1 c coffee, 1 liter water + vitamins + supps.

My oldest 13 yrs old had a girl do that to him. He went out with her once and didn't like her b/c she was a in his words a motor mouth. So he asked her to just be friends and she agreed. Then she kept iming him and sending him emails begging him to go back out with her and even told him she would get her big brother to jump him if he didn't. THis kid is in highschool. Finally I told her that if she brought her brother into it that her brother and I were going to a talk and I would have to show him how his little sister is behaving and that if he touched my 7th grade son I would have his ass arrested. She backed off,FINALLY!

I told my daughter those things since she was BORN!!! She still went thru all the boy crazy crap. One family (I do business with them) came to me and told me she was calling their son CONSTANTY and she wouldn't listen when he told her not to call. How freakin' embarassing!!!! I had to tell her to knock it off.

No matter how hard you try, sometimes you can't reach them. I know it had something to do with her "sperm doner" not being around (or even bothering to contact her). Make sure you're girls have a great relationship with their dad. It will make all the difference in their confidence.

my girl is very smart, but likes to say she is a 'dumb blonde inside'. (She is dk. headed anyway ;) ) she has always done well in school. I guess somehow she thinks it is cooler to be dumb. She has some silly ideas and it doesn't matter what i (mom) say, it seems she thinks i know nothing. She is all about being accepted by peers and not doing anything that other kids dont' do. I am very concerned about peer pressure..that being said.
I wish she would just be herself. I guess it is hormonal and her age. Just this year (5th grade) she has changed completely...she's smart-mouthed, sassy, gets upset easy, rarely happy. She also has changed in the way that some of the things she enjoys...like the old movies(musicals) she loves to watch, she never watches and would Never tell her girlfriends that stay all night about them or ask if they would like to see one. She also has started listening to more of the mainstream hip hop crap that is popular right now, when she did listen to christian rap, r&b. I know she is trying to fit in, but at the expense of changing who she is??? I worry about her alot. Fortunately, i am a sahm and always here for her and just hoping i'm doing things right and this is just about her age. I know she will be soon having her cycles, she already gets crampy and crabby (lol).

Girls are more difficult than boys are. Most boys are easier to read than girls and girls have so many different layers that later become their different faces that make up who they are at the their root. Like all of us we have different face,how we are with our kids,families,friends,and alone. All are different but they all make up who we are.

Well I was on the go all afternoon yesterday. I went to the grocery store and then ended up running some errands for my MIL. I am so sick of going to the store and coming out spending no less than 200 a week. UGH! Something gotta freaken give here!

Why do you tan your face? I just bought that lotion with the tanner (I can look if you care to know the brand) for my face and neck, and tan my body. That way I don't have to deal with it looking leathery and dried out and wrinkled as I age. Noone can tell the difference!

I normally don't tan my face but maybe 10 min per session. I tan really fast so it doesn't take much or long for me to get dark. I usually put a towel over my head but they were out of them last night. Please do give it to me I would appreciate it. THanks!!!

It's so nice out ,rained early this morning but they are saying it's going to get the mid 70's that 's a big thing here. But next week the snow makes a comeback :rolleyes:

M1- I made a breakfast pizza, 1 ww pita bread warmed, 5 egg whites and 1 egg scrambled, I also took 2 slices of turkey bacon (could have used turkey sausage as well) browned it to a crisp,crumbled it up and added it to the eggs and gave it a good stir and put on the pita and topped with one serving of low fat shredded cheddar cheese, I ate 3/4 of it and my daughter at a slice of it. 1 C coffee, 1 liter water + vitamins + supps :p

You get to prepare your food every day, and you have different options to eat day to day. Even though it's an egg you cook it different ways to create some different way to eat it day to day. I take an egg and eat it exactly the same way every day.

It's warmer but windy and rain is coming in. Then next week cold and snow again.

M1- 1/2 C egg substitute,1/2 ww english muffin toasted with 1 slice turkey bacon cut in half and 1 thick slice tomato. 1 C coffee, 1 liter water + vitamins + supps.

M2- 1/2 C low fat cottage cheese, 1 small green apple sliced, 1 liter water

It's so nice out. I love it. Really puts you in the mood to move you butt!!!

M3- Protein shake - I was busy running around doing stuff outside.

M4- 5 oz grilled tuna steak,1/2 C brown rice,and a larg all veggie salad,1 bottle diet lipton green tea.

M5- same ole meal as everyday.

Legs and Glutes

Hip abductor - 120/15,15,15
Hip adduction_ 90/15,15,12
Squats to sitting postion-kept the weight low and did more reps-75/15 85/15 95/15
seated calf raises - 70/20,20,20
leg press - 220/15,15 240/15
Pelvic thrusts - 65/15,15 75/15 ( I did it last night Treilin and it didn't hurt other than the burn in my butt and hams LOL )

Cardio - 20 min recumbant bike, hill intervals started on level 6 went up to level 12 for 3 minutes then down to 9 for the remainder until cool down time at speeds of 67 to 74 rpm.

I'm taking today off and gonna do some stuff around here that needs to get done before it gets colder. Sooo I'll talk wity ya'll tomorrow!!!
 
Monday 3/13

Goooood Morning Elite Fitness!!!!!!


Wow warm warm warm today gonna be almost 80* wooohooo!!! But....severe storms. We are gonna be getting what they are getting out West but hopefully no twisters.

Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. I had some stuff going on here with hubby and well I finally stood up to him and told him exactly how I feel about things that he's been doing to me. So far he's acting better but do I think it's a permanent change NOPE! Do I think I"m gonna take it if he doesn't change NOPE!


Ok with that behind me now. :)

M1 - protein smoothie: 6 to 8 oz cold cold water, 1 1/2 scoops vanilla whey protein mix, 1 frozen banana, 4 to 6 medium frozen strawberries. Blend on medium until smooth. THis is really good and refreshing!

I'm hoping the storms don't get to bad tonight or else we won't be able to get to the gym. Keep your fingers crossed!!! :worried:

Yeah thunderstorms here all night and this morning so far.
I plan on dropping my resume off at a gym and then I have to go to my gym to work-out. So I hope it doesn't create any issues either!
I hope all goes well with the conflicts in your relationship. I don't envy you!
