LOL it feels weird logging again!!!

My body is achy this morning. I had the flu a couple weeks ago and it knocked me on my ass big time. But I'm better now and getting my strength back and feeling more back to normal.

M1 - Protein pancakes here's the recipe these things rock. I got it from a cookbook called eating for life. by Bill Philips.

1 C. uncooked whole-grain oats (non-instant)
6 egg whites
1 C fat free cottage cheese (I used low fat)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 packets or equivalent to 2 packets of splenda
1/4 c. mixed berries (I used strawberries)

Combine all but the berries in blender and blend on medium speed util smooth,about a minute.

Pour batter on preheated skillet or griddled sprayed with non-stick spray,1/4 C. at a time. Cook util bubbly or dry around the edges,turn and cook other side until golden.

I used sugar free syrup!!!

This was yummy!!! :p

1 C. coffee :coffee:
16 oz water + vitamins + supps

M2 - 1/2 c. low fat cottage cheese,1 C celery sticks 1 C cauliflower,22 oz water x 2

M3 - 4 oz grilled chicken breast cut up on a bed of romaine lettuce with sliced cukes,and green bell peppers,1 tbs of balsamic vin. 22 oz water x 2

M4 - 1 container of yoplait lite mixed berry yogurt,22 oz water


M5 - 6 oz grilled tuna fillet,5 oz seasoned red potato,1 C boiled greenbeans,1 can 7up plus.

I luv them. I make up a batch and put them in the fridge to warm up when I'm in a pinch for something. But now my little girl likes them so much she will eat them all up on me. LOL :chomp:
 
I mixed up a batch of these and gonna have one tonight when I get home from the gym. This is another recipe from the eating for life book.

They are called Fortified Fudgesicle

1/2 C fat-free evaporated milk
1 1/2 C low-fat cottage cheese
1 package (4-servings) fat-free,sugar free chocolate instant pudding mix

Pour fat-free evaporated milk in blender. Add cottage cheese and blend at medium speed until smooth,about 45 seconds.

Add the pudding mix and blend on high speed until thick and creamy,about 45 more seconds (stopping blender to stir with spoon and scrape down sides as needed)

Spoon pudding mixture into 6 popsicle molds or paper cups. Insert wooden sticks and place in freezer for about 3 hours. :chomp: :p :Chef:

Yep sure could!!!!! As a matter of fact it doesn't change the taste at all in my opinion. ;)

M1-6 am - protein smoothie- 8 oz very cold water,1 1/2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder-mix in blender about 40 seconds add one at a time 3 to 4 frozen strawberries and blend until smooth. YUMMY!!!!

Ok I told ya'll that I had the flu and was really sick a couple weeks ago. So I had to take steriods b/c I had bronchitis, I am broke out from it,I'm still trying to get rid of them. GRRR!!!! I hate it! :evil:

I bought that stuff Proactive to use. I've been using it for abou a week and I think it's working but I still have a few left on my face. Here I am in my 30's and I have pimples on my damn face like a teenager it's freaken embarrassing! :worried: :rolleyes:

If you want something to use on that that acutally WORKS....call around to the derm offices in your area and see if they have any Glycolic Acid. The kind you get from them is unbuffered and works 100x better than the junk you can get at the store. I have some that I use occasionally - it works! :)

I tried Proactive once and it didn't do anything for me. I was pretty disappointed.

I actually bought this Murad Acne (3 step) kit & it has been working very nicely for the external pimples, and not too rough on the face. $.02

Well Proactiv worked for me but it took quite a few weeks to work. Then I use Dermatologica in the evenings. I break out worse now then I did when I was in my teens.
 
I read in the paper work they sent with it that it can take like 3 to 6 weeks to really clear it up so I'm going to give it at least that long. I would love to go to a dermatologist but I have no insurance at the moment so that's not really an option for at the moment.


I never really got pimples as a teen maybe I'm playing catch up now!!!!
 
M3 - noon - 6 oz grilled salmon, salad w/ romaine lettuce,carrots,red cabbage. 1 tbs balsamic vin. lite,22 oz water x 2

I am about to go in an start dinner. I'm making my chili.

I take 1 lb of ground turkey,browned with one small onion diced, in a pot a put my beans for a family of my size I use 4 cans,add chili seasoning,diced tomatoes,tomato sauce,1 green bell pepper diced. I also add water about 3 cans. We like it thick but too thick so I adjust the water as needed for thickness. I add the meat and onion along with tvp that is textured vegetable protein now this stuff is good. It takes the taste of whatever you are cooking is good for you. Let it cook and enjoy!!!!

TVP for every 1/4 c. serving there is 80 calories, 0 grams of fat, no saturated fat,0 mg of cholesterol, 2 mg of sodium, 594 mg of potassium, total carbs are only 7 grams,dietary fiber 4 g., 3 grams of sugar and 12 grams of protein.


M5 - 5:45 pm - 1 C chili,salad,1 tbs balsamic vin. lite, 7 up plus


Cals:1347
fat: 25%
carbs:27%
protein:42%

Wow it's feaken cold out!!! :cold: I got a phone call from my youngest son this morning saying that he forgot his science project here and he needs me to bring it to him by 11 am. Ok no problem then he retracts that and tells me he needs it there by 9 am. Now this was at 8am. I hadn't showered or anything. UGH! Not to mention I have to get my daughter ready and out the door which is always a big drama scene with her. She's such a little diva at times. And my husband wakes up this morning with a really bad cold, I"m afraid it's gonna turn into the flu and I just got over that shit and don't want it back!!!! Oy,today is gonna be one of those days!!!! :rolleyes:



M1 - 8am - warmed up 2 leftover protein pancakes, 1 Tbs sugar free syrup, 1/2 C strawberries,1 C :coffee: ,22 oz water x 2, + vitamins + supps.

Your right! Things are going ok now. I had a small battle with my cell phone company saying I never paid my bill last month and I had to show them I did. And that was the end of it. But I kept my cool and the sun is out and it's warming up for today. I think I may fix a glass off hot green tea and go sit out in the sun and read.

I know you all have heard me talk about my dogs well here's pictures of them. I have one siberian husky and one pit/boxer mix. They are both outside in the pics as we have a play area set up for them. They are both a bit distructive of property so this way we are able to save our yard. LOL

OMG He's so cute. Princess is getting gray in the face a little too but she's still so much of a puppy. I am having the hardest time uploading photos. It will start to upload and then say done and the page is blank nothing there so then I check my gallery and the photo's aren't there. I can send them to you in email.

I moved and live in a hotel room for another month or so and I'm living out of restaurants and/or the microwave. Should have grabbed my toaster oven before I left so I can make a little more than what I can now. That's what I get for not thinking... :rolleyes:

Can you pick up a cheap one and use it until you get a place? I'm sure you can make the pizza in the microwave but it may not turn out the same.

Here's what we are having for dinner. Roasted turkey breast,mashed potatoes,salad.

I loaded the turkey beast with mrs.dash original, I first washed it and patted it dry,then took my hands and loosened the skin from the body of the breast then I rubbed the seasonings into the meat and put in roasting bag tossed in the oven and walked away. THe house smells sooooo good.

Mashed potatoes- I used red potato just tossed enough for my family to have a serving of 1/2 C per person. Boiled adding NO salt to the water. ANywho when they boil until soft poke with fork to tell if it sticks to the fork it's not done. When done drain off water or save and use on your house plants they love it. Ok back to the potatoes, Start mashing them add a little skim milk or even 1% if allowable in diet. No butter allowed use butter buds. THey are really good and taste just like butter. Mash well.

Butter buds- per 1 tbs (2g) serving - 5 calories,0 fat,o cholesterol,120 mg sodium (the only downfall),2 g. carbs,0 g. protein.

I use these in my mashed potatoes when I do make them which is very very seldom. But they are very delicious!!!!

I have a question about fitday.com I have been using it for well since I started posting on here. Now my question is ok like say when I make oh um the protein pancakes the serving is only 2 pancakes but the recipe makes much more than that more like 10 pancakes. Now if I put the ingredients in my recipe it's going to through my stat out there in jupiter somewhere freezing their toosh off. :cold: So how do I break that down to be compliable with one serving for the sake of my stats. :worried:

I could try mastercook as it does break things down per serving. Butttt I put one of my protein smoothies in there and it didn't identify the protein powder and give it a 0 making me only having 3 grams of protein for that one smoothy. OY! So that's not gonna work for me. I looked to see if there was a place that I could add it myself but I haven't found that.

M1 - 8 am - oldie but goodie - 1/2 C cream of wheat sweatened with splenda,4 egg whites, 1 whole egg scrambled, 1/4 C strawberries,1 C coffee,22 oz water x 2 + vitamins + supps.

They said we were suppose to drop all day yesterday but it stalled somewhere and we had wonderful temps all day. It was windy but warm.

Yeah it was 60 here yesterday (I don't ever remember those temps in February). Last night hell broke loose with the wind, thunderstorms, rain, and lightning. The temp dropped to 26 now and is supposed to continue dropping and then we are supposed to get a snowstorm tonight. Stupid weather!

It's spitty snow right now. I can't wait for warmer weather!!!!

The weekend was a busy one. The trip Saturday to Canaan was long but nice. Going through the mountains and seeing the snow oh it was breathe taking. But the roads going up were just nasty. It was 4* when we got there at 5pm OY! It was freaken cold!!!!

Sunday was a busy day as well,went to the gym in the morning and then came home cleaned up and then had to go grocery shopping. Told myself i was going to not spend so much money and I'll be damned if I didn't spend 300 anyway. :rolleyes:

M1 - Eating now - I made a very simple breakfast this morning. Breakfast roll ups - 1 ww tortilla, 5 egg whites, 1 whole egg scrambled,place on tortilla and top with 1 to 1/2 serving of low fat shredded cheddar cheese and roll up. Sometimes I add peppers and onion to this or mushrooms but I was not feeling that this morning. So I kept it simple. LOL 1 C coffee, 1 liter water plus vitamins plus supps


M2 - eating now - 6 oz tuna steak grilled,salad w/ 1 tb lite ranch, 1 liter water x 2

Chopped up the chicken breast and added to the brown rice that was made in low fat low sodium chicken broth. Had a big bowl of steamed broccoli and a bottle of h2o.

7 pm went tanning

came home and had a protein shake around 9. Jumped in the shower and went to bed!

M1 - 8:30 am - ok so I made protein pancakes with a kick this morning. We can call these super protein pancakes that are just delicious!

I took the recipe I put on here and added a scoop of vanilla whey protein tossed in blender and mixed until smooth.

Now here's why I say super protein pancakes

6 egg whites=21g of protein
1c low fat cottage cheese = 24g of protein
1 scoop protein powder = 20g of protein
1c old fashioned oats = 5g of protein

======== 70g of protein in the recipe

22oz water x 2 + vitamins + supps
1 c coffee


M2 - 11:30 am - 4 oz broiled chicken breast, 1 C green beans,22 oz water


M3 - eating now 2:30 pm - 1 container of yoplait light yogurt,1 liter of water

Damn....that sounds pretty good!

Well at least someone enjoys it! I really don't mind warm weather, love thunderstorms, cold is o.k. but I don't like all 3 in a 24 hour span! Especially a 40- 50 degree difference.

M2 - 11 am - 4 oz grilled chicken,5 oz seasoned potato (wash and cut into bite size cubes toss in bag with 1 tbs of extra virgin olive oil and what ever seasonings you want just no salt and junk coat potatoes well by sealing in bag and shaking, lay out on broiler pan ((I use my counter top oven for this)) and broil 5 to 8 minutes or until nice and golden brown. :p
 
this is the rest of my log for yesterday. My stupid ass is so unorganized today!


M4 - 5:30 pm - cut up a 4 to 5 oz chickenbreast (sb) into cubes,put in skillet with 1/2 tbs olive oil and 1 tbs mrs dash brown the chicken then added 4 tbs of water and let cook until done. Added to a large veggie salad and ate 1/2 C brown rice on the side. It was so freaken good!!!! :Chef: :chomp:


M5 - 9pm - 1 container yogurt, 1 C grapes, water

I'm gonna vent a little.....

I have been so f*cken pissed. I'm so stressed that I feel like I'm about to crack. Ok so it all started yesterday well before that but really big yesterday. So hubby gets home and we have dinner everything is fine,then later we start getting ready to leave for the gym. I come out of the bedroom and he looks at me and says you wearen that. I said yeah why. Then he looks down at my chest and looks back up at me. I said shut up I can't help they are not going away. I can't freaken hide them. He gets made at me (as he's been doing alot lately for some unknown reason). He goes to the bathroom and I told him he's gonna have to deal with it b/c I can't help how big they are and that I can't hide them and won't it's stupid.

Ok so we are going to the gym and he's not talking to me at all. We get in there and my strength is lagging big time. I think it's due to all the stress it's effecting me everywhere. I am frustrated anyway and I"m doing chest press usually I can do set of 8 to 10 on them but no not last night. SO I said what f*ck is up with my strength. He said say it louder would ya. I again already irritated said I don't give a shit. THen walked away to get a drink. I go back in and he walks away not telling me where he was going. I"m standing like a freaken idiot with my thumb up my ass waiting for him and he's in the other room and machine. I walked in and said Thanks for telling me. We exchanged more words. We finished the workout and leave again didn't talk the whole ride home We live 20 min from the gym.

Now this morning he starts on me about logging on here and saying I'm just looking for someone to hook up with on here. I said no I'm not. He said you told me that you talk to guys on there. I said b/c you asked and I have nothing to hide. I said I'm not dead and I'm gonna look so what who cares. He stops talking to me yet again. This is adding to shit I don't need right now. I'm so tired of trying to word things for him so that he doesn't feel offended or get upset with me. I'm tired of holding back all the time and doing what he wants me to do just b/c it's not gonna upset him or it's going to make him happy. I"m sick of taking back what I do or say just so he's not uncomfortable. OMG! I just want to scream!
 
Thanks you two! I love to cook,probably why I got such a big ass in the first place. LOL If I find the class I'll be going back to school I want to get my license to be a registered dietician or nutritionalist. But so far in hick country Wv I am having a hard time find it. No wonder we have such a fat epidemic here! :worried:

I've got less than 2 years left!!!! Cant wait!!!! .....I agree with the cooking and the "big butt" comment....I can PERSONALLY say that there is a definite correlation between the two ...o geez :p

----I must move away from the computer now....brain farting going on....low carbday. Anywaym you're doing awesome....so many DELICIOUS meals on here...Im jealous!!!! ;)

Where are you going to school? I think WVU offers it but that's over an hour away from me.

Good morning everyone. I feel good this morning legs are feeling the workout from last night but I'm loven it. LOL I"m such a freak! No gym tonight!

M1 - 7:30am - 2 slices thin sliced turkey bacon, 1 C oatmeal w/slenda,2 C coffee :coffee: ,1/2 C strawberries, 1 liter water + vitamins + supps
 
I have a funny to tell ya'll. Last night at the gym there was this guy and I don't normally even post about people I see but this guy OMG I just have to. Ok he was a small guy but that's not what I'm talking about we all start somewhere. It was how he was dressed. He has on a baseball cap on backwards with a shortsleeved sweatshirt cut off at the waste making it a belly shirt and a pair of cut off jeans shorts with a pair of combat boots and toob socks. He was doing some bicep work and would stop to admire himself in the mirror rubbing his biceps and then looking around to see if someone was looking at him. It was some sight I tell ya!

Can you eat maybe snack on a few almonds or nuts to hold you over since bfast was a little low on fat?

You can adjust cals as needed thru out the day, it's still early

Man this tuna is sooooo good!!!! :p




M3 - 2 pm - protein shake- drank it on the go,my oldest had to go to the foot doctor.


M4 - 5:30pm - 4 oz roased chicken breast,1/2 C roasted seasoned potatoes, side salad w/ 1/2 tbs of lite balsamic vin. 1 liter h2o


Went tanning and to walmart to pick up some stuff for my son.

M5 - 9pm - 1 container lite yogurt

Friday,2/24

My son had to have an ingrown toe nail removed yesterday and I told him he should just stay home today from school. Does he listen NO and then calls me after being there for less than an hour to come and get him b/c it's really hurting and bleeding a little. UGH! Teenagers! He had to give his track coach the paper from the foot doctor as track practice starts today and he's out for the next week. He has to sit out the first meet but then all is normal after that. Thank God b/c it would have been an ugly seen in my house had he been pulled from the team. OY!

M1 - 7:45am - 1 container lite yogurt, 2 protein pancakes,1 c coffee, 1 liter water + vitamins + supps


M2 - 10:55am - 1 medium granny smith apple, 1 tbs anpb, 1 liter water + supps

LOL Mr. B had a black big toenail for what seems like forever ... finally it fell off, or he helped it off, but a little chunk was still attached catching on things ... SO since he wouldn't stop playing with it, I told him to get my the needlenose and I ripped the phucker out. It was LONG too and embedded, but no blood. LOL

He was shocked it took only a "grip & rip" to get rid of it :)

Ok so I sat down today and wrote myself out a diet to follow for the next few months to see if that can cleanse my body and help with the fat reduction. So here it is let me know what ya'll think


M1 - 1/2 C egg beater w/or without veggies or 5 egg whites and 1 egg scrambled
1/2 c oatmeal w/ splenda
1/2 C strawberries
of course water

M2 - 4 oz chicken or 5 oz fish
green veggie here either salad or green beans
again water

M3 - repeat of meal 2

M4- this would be around dinner time normall and my preworkout meal.

4 to 5 oz lean meat
5 oz carb like brown rice or red potato,ect
3 servings of green veggies
1 serving of fruit
more water

M5 - yogurt - this is a must from my gyn so I have to have in every day.

M6 - almonds water


I know i need to add one more fat in there somewhere maybe with dinner using olive oil or something. NOt sure.
 
Maybe add some type of PWO Shake in with that yogurt for M5?

You can easily add some more almonds in with m2 or m3, great to throw in a salad, or maybe add some EVOO to the meat/veggies as well.

I've done something very similar at one point or another ... great 40/30/30 base ... do you know the breakdowns/ cals yet? Maybe 16-1700 cals?

No not yet I need to add to fitday as a dummy day or something just to see what it is. I want to try to keep it at 1700.

Yeah I thought about the almonds after I posted it. I was like duh! LOL

I did quick cardio with hills maintained a speed that kept my heart rate at peak but didn't over exhaust myself.


We are going out of town tomorrow and will be gone over night so I'll talk to you all on Monday when I start my new diet.

Thanks hun. The trip went well exhausting as I can't sleep in strange places. So taking most of yesterday to recoop and be lazy I'm feeling better today but still can feel the effects of lack of sleep. I hate that feeling.

My diet is a clean diet. And believe after this weekend I need it. We went to his family's annual Keg party. Lots of fun and dancing and booze and food omg was there food. And non of it was good for you. That on top of the drinking. Well I need to cleanse my body. LOL
