Interesting fact: I asked a few questions and it turns-out these "Latin" (their words, not mine. They sure look mexican to me) work crews get paid the same and often more than their US counterparts...

What is shitty about that? If people think that is bad pay, must be why mexicans are doing it while white people collect unemployment.

That is why Mexican's are doing the work. Americans think they are above labor now. You are a prime example of what is wrong with America and people think that manufacturing is moving because of cost... hell it is because Americans are to lazy and entitled to do the work.

Probably because the latin crew feels they need to work when the american crews feels they are entitled to a paycheck wether they completed their work or not.

I'm just shocked to see so many of them on a roving crew like this. They're supposed to do the house and two smaller roofs by the end of the week.

This is east Tennessee. Is there no one willing to do the work? Do they want more money?

i'll jump back in on this convo seeing as to how/direction it went..

I'll offer any 24 yr old any race $20 HR state run medical and rain days off no pay..

the 1st question out of their mouth is "what do i have to do"

not "when can i start"...

It's a sad thing, people teach their children not to expect more, but to want more, if you want more you will do more and produce more..

that's the difference, i don't see "entitled" attitudes, but a desire to be more than manual labor jobs can provide..

and FUCK the UNIONS
