I did an APA Bench meet this weekend and was really impressed with myself (bragging). This was my 1 year PL anniversary meet.
Last year i benched a tough 350
This weekend i went 3 for 3
385 (20lb pr) easy
405 (40 lb pr)
415 (50 lb pr from OCT.) This was the first time i'd had this much weight in my hands and it went up with a little struggle but not to bad.
I can attribute a lot of the increase from cutting open my dbl. denim. This was only the 3rd time i'd worked in it and did not pull it down at all, it was as high as it would go with it cut open. But at least i know my training is working.
I am doing a raw bench and deadlift meet in 3 weeks and will compare my shirt max with my raw max. I have a feeling it will be close to a 100lb. carryover , which is pretty rediculous.
