Deadlifts were stronger than I can remember, busted afterwards, perfect. No bodybuilder here, just an athlete who dwarfs all, the only thing that should take over one's life is one's faith. peace

Yep....if some more pounds on the deadlift is worth more than a good orgasm then that would be the case. A frightening idea. Forgo(sp?) orgasm....lift more.

Three orgasms in one night will affect strenght though.


Impressive dedication though.

Busting nuts took over my life the day I turned 15. it's been a constant battle ever since. Man against testosterone - a fight I won't be able to win until I'm 65.

Health Benefits of Orgasm
It's good for you! Especially in a loving relationship or by yourself, rather than in stressful encounters.

Having an orgasm can help you live longer, be healthier, and look younger, according to a bunch of recent studies.

A solo orgasm is almost as good for you as an orgasm in a loving relationship, and much better than a high-stress casual or adulterous encounter. In fact, frequent masturbation has been shown to reduce certain health risks.

Several studies in the U.S., Britain, and Sweden show that people with a higher frequency of orgasm have reduced risk of dying at an early age.

One study compared men who had frequent orgasm to men who rarely had any. Overall death rates from all causes over a ten-year period were twice as high among the men who rarely had orgasms. Another study compared men who had been sexually active but stopped as they got older to men who kept right on going. It found that men who stopped having orgasms started dying off faster!

Does that mean sex can save your life?

Researchers naturally wondered if there was a cause and effect, or if maybe the men who had more sex were just healthier to begin with. But the results held up even when adjusted for differences in smoking, blood pressure, and existing evidence of heart disease, as well as age and social class.

A similar effect was found for women, too, but with an important difference. Reduced death rates were not so much associated just with sexual intercourse, but with sexual satisfaction the women reported. In other words, sex without orgasm is little help. It is the orgasm that really counts when it comes to health benefits.

A number of beneficial effects of orgasm appear to contribute to these results. Studies show orgasms raise the levels in the body of at least three different types of disease fighting cells and antibodies which strengthen the immune system.

Other studies show orgasm boosts hormones that strengthen muscles and bones, reduces cholesterol and improves the balance of good vs. bad cholesterol, among other things. One of these hormones is called DHEA, one of nature's own wonder drugs. DHEA is believed to improve brain function, balance the immune system, help maintain and repair tissue, promote healthy skin, and possibly improve cardiovascular health and combat depression.

It turns out that DHEA production in the body is closely related to orgasm. In the moments just before you have an orgasm, when your body is teetering on the brink and you can feel it coming on, the level of DHEA in the body spikes to several times higher than normal. This many explain the "flushed" feeling some people report in that key ecstatic moment.

This fits with the evolutionary theory that the inner drive to achieve that happy moment would not be so strong if the effect was bad for you. Amazingly enough, something that feels so good may actually be so good for you.

The recent study on masturbation and cancer showed that men who masturbated more than five times per week between age 20 and 50 had one-third less chance of developing aggressive prostate cancer later in life than men who masturbated less often. The Australian researchers, who used self-reports of over 2000 men in the study, believe ejaculation may flush cancer-causing chemicals out of the prostate.

In addition, the heavy breathing and elevated heart rate that occur with sexual arousal and orgasm are believed to aid in circulation of oxygen to various organs and tissues, keeping them healthier. There is exercise value, too, which burns off calories and therefore helps control weight. Some findings from these studies suggest orgasms may also reduce the risk of male prostate problems by flushing out seminal fluids and keeping the pipes clean.

Furthermore, it has long been recognized that the best way to keep your sex organ working well into old age is to give it plenty of exercise throughout your adult life. So the beneficial effects of orgasm may only remain available if you never quit for too long. Use it or lose it!

Also important are the psychological benefits. Frequent orgasms relieve stress, reduce anxiety, relieve depression, release mood-elevating hormones along with hormones that increase the pain threshhold, so pain seems reduced. Men and women who have frequent orgasm report better ability to handle stress.

It is likely that orgasms offer some of the mental benefits often attributed to meditation, including the ability to let go, relax completely, and turn off the thinking process. Orgasm often helps people get to sleep and sleep better. These beneficial effects may not be available, however, in stressful encounters such as adulterous affairs where there is fear of discovery.

Frequent orgasm in low-stress situations may also help you look younger. In one study, researchers put together a panel to guess the ages of a number of volunteer subjects in the U.S., Britain, and Europe. The researchers then sorted out 3500 men and women whom the panel guessed were much younger than they actually were. The men selected were on average 12 years older than the panel guessed, and the women 10.

The researchers discovered that this youthful-looking group averaged four orgasms per week, twice as much as other people. The evidence suggests reduced stress and anxiety are among the main factors. "It's not a case of these people having more sex because they look younger, they actually look younger because they are having more sex," says Dr. David Weeks, one of the researchers.

The researchers believed the best effects on looking youthful came from monogomous sex in a loving relationship, with solo sex a close second. Casual sex with numerous different partners did not help maintain youthful looks. Researchers believe it increased stress and anxiety rather than lowering it.

Many people do not have a loving and willing partner available as often as they would like, or even at all. Fortunately masturbation can achieve most if not all of the benefits, especially if done in a low-stress setting without fear of an embarassing discovery. Through the ages there have been myths about masturbation being bad for you, but those have been debunked. It is important, however, to avoid certain dangers that should be obvious but sometimes are not, such as masturbating using any kind of glass object, like a bottle or a vase, or any vacuum device. Also, people with heart problems or other illness should ask their doctor if sex is safe for them.

For many people, pictures and videos of naked women and sexual activity are a great aid to solo sex as well as sex with a partner. Pornography, therefore, can be an important aid to health and longevity.

The evidence is clear - more times can mean more time. Frequent orgasm can not only improve your health, looks, and well-being, but also give you more time on this earth - good time, at that!
