Can someone post a list of low gi carbs?? Just 4 or 5 options for a clean bulk. I keep finding conflicting info on this subject so I thought I would see what the majority opinion was. Thanks :)

Low fat Yogurt – packed full of calcium
Orchard fruit – apples, pears, peaches and other stone fruit all have a low GI
Fiberous veggies........
Oats – porridge is low GI,
Cherries

Do you use rice or potatoes in your diet for a low gi carb? I want to use them but I find some info that they are low and some that they are a hi gi carb.

Yams and brown rice are also a staple of mine, I'd even say a very good whole (stone) ground wheat bread is solid too..................I am finding out more and more that the G.I. index is basically bunk...........#1, if you eat a balanced meal of p,c,and fat, any insulin spike is severely reduced. Also, if you use ALA, that works to minimize the effect as well............I stay away from the high end GI foods, except PW, other than that, it's fair game............

jkurz is the diet guru. he would rip me a new asshole for all the garbage i have eaten in the past. We talked a bunch last week and am working on cardio and cleaning up my diet now.
