Hi all! I'm about 3.5 weeks into a Protodrol / 11-Sterone cycle. This is my first experiment with PHs and I had planned for it to be a recomp cycle. Needless to say, eating at maintenance wasn't producing much of a recomp and I've opted to just make it an all out cut. Figured I'd take advantage of being on what has turned out to be a rather mild cycle to help me maintain strength / prevent muscle loss while cutting. The cycle is being run as follows:
Proto: 75/100/125/125/125/125/0/0/0
11-Steone: 0/0/0/600/600/600/900/900/900
I've dropped to about 500 calories below maintenance primarily by reducing carbs. I am leaning out a bit, but would really like to accelerate things before this cycle is over. I've just finished reading two of Lyle McDonald's books - Rapid Fat Loss and Ultimate Diet 2.0.
I like the simplicity of the Rapid fat Loss (PSMF), but it seems the Ultimate Diet 2.0 might be more workable for 3 - 4 weeks and could potentially work better in terms of maintaining muscle mass (or maybe even adding a little bit).
Thanks guys!!!!
Can anyone that's played around with either of these diets comment? Which did you like better? What sort of results did you see? Just trying to weigh the pros and cons of each before making a decision.
Of course, I'm also open to other suggestions.
