Several things happened that showed this Ravens team really pulled it together this past week.
1 - The secondary - they actually had one today
2 - No stupid penalties, ie. Brady crying about roughing the passer or pass interference
3 - Suggs was actually a factor
4 - Probably the biggest impact - Pats couldn't stop the run, for God sake Flaco was 4/10 for 34yrs and look at the score. We should have just had McGahee take snaps and either give it to Rice or run it himself, we didn't even need a QB today.
I don't think Welker was a factor at all. Edelman played well and I don't think Welker would have done much better. Pats got shut down, period, end of story.
I'm a Ravens fan, did I think before the game we were going to win? Honestly no. When Ray Rice ran the ball in on the first snap, and then Suggs stripped the ball from Brady on their first posession - I saw a Raven's team that I hadn't seen since Week 3/4.
