Leg routine

On leg day I get super nauseous. But I've found if I alternate between doing quads and hams it's less of a problem. for example my usual routine for legs is:
leg extensions 2 warm up sets then 4 sets of medium reps(12-15)
squats or hack squats 4-5 sets
leg press 3-4 sets
ham curls 2 warm up then 4 or 5 sets
stiff legged deadlifts 3 sets

If I alternate between quads and hams I don't get as nauseous. Say for example if I do it this way:
leg extensions
squats
ham curls
leg press
stiff legged dead lifts

However people keep telling me that it's not a good idea ..why?

And why isn't it a good idea? I personally like to start off with squats cause they take the most out of me overall. But then I give my hams/glutes a break and do calves and extensions. You probably don't need squats, curls, and SL deads. Do squats and alternate the other two each workout. I typically only do 3 exercises for upper legs and 1 for calves. But I'm not trying to jack my legs up either. Do 'em in whatever order lets you go the hardest. Try squats then superset curls and extensions and finish with calves.

I dont know of any physiological reason why its bad to alternate quads and hams, but i can think of a psychological reason: When you do extensions and then sqauts, your quads are filling up with blood. Then you go and do hamstrings, like leg curls. This not only draws blood into the hams, but i am sure putting pressure on the quads helps push blood out of them. I love the pump. If i did exercises that rid me of pumplitude between different exercises, i think it would be depressing. And that would take my mind off the workout.

Its like on leg day, there is so much blood in my lower half, that i try to wear a bigger t-shirt, so i dont have to look at my shriveled, no-blood-having upper body. Sad i know.

Plus, i think alternating exercises breaks up the flow of the workout. If you're in a quad groove, stay in the quad groove.

As for what JoBu said about doing squats first cause they are the hardest. I think its good to switch up the routine. Sometimes i do squats first, sometimes i do extensions first. This keeps the workout different and helps you hit things in different ways with prefatiguing.
