Lab Results Back – Low Test Levels?

Hey,

OK so I have been feeling low for a while (Fatigue, Can’t concentrate, No motivation at all etc) and after reading various threads on here and articles on the net, I went to go get my bloodwork done.

My doc was very reluctant but did eventually do it.

My test levels came back as 240 ng/dL and although I specifically asked, he didn’t test my free T.

According to the doc, my levels are “normal” and the range I was given on the results was 230 – 1080 ng/dL so I just about scraped in the low end of “normal”

I am interested to hear anyone’s opinion on what I can do about this as I definitely don’t feel normal. Plus all the research I have done on normal levels have been 300 ng/dL upwards and closer to 700 ng/dL for 30 year olds, which I am.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

What is your age?
What is your AAS history?
Are you looking to go on HRT?

What is you body fat? Do you WO often?
Did you go to a GP?
I would get a refferal to an Endo and find the problem. HRT is for us old guys.

I was in the same boat. I started HRT 3 months ago and I am a new man. I feel better than I ever have actually. You may want to look into it.

4T.....excellent Halloween costumes.

Go to another doctor. Thats way to low for your age. Mine was 270 ng/dl (after a cycle) and my doc is going to test me again and prescribe me some AAS if they show that low next time. I am taking precautions to ensure that mine test low, but in your case you need someone to take you serious. Most dotors are fugging idiots,so finding a good one can be very difficult. Good Luck.

My BF is around 13% and I used to work out 4 x week all natty. Since my health has been declining, I have not been working out as much - maybe 2 x week. And yes, this was my regular GP bro

I was thinking the same thing, switch doctors. This guy seems totally uninterested and unhelpful. As far as he's concerned, I didnt need the tests in the first place and now because I just scraped in the "normal" range, that that! Nothing more for him to do!!

Do you know if I can still see an endo, without a referal?

Thanks for all your input guys

The first question is, What do YOU want to do? If you want to go on HRT, then your test results indicate that you are a good candidate. If you want to pusue HRT you will need to go see an Endo or urologist and get a Test prescription. Is that what you want to do?

^^ Honestly bro, because my doctor has been zero help, I was kind hoping to find out what my options even are.

From the various reading I have done HRT is a life long commitment, so would need some serious thought BUT I am not prepared to spend the rest of my life feeling this way.

Are there any more options for low test or is HRT my only option? This is all very new to me and I am getting zero support from my doc as he feelsI am "normal" (on paper atleast)

You could try some natural over the counter test boosters first and see if its enough to get you higher in the normal range other then that you are looking at HRT. Its not that bad they have patches and gel now that you just rub on everyday if you dont want to get a shot every week.
