10 caps amp02 @6:00 (think i'll take 11......effect wearing off i believe...pumps are no longer there :rolleyes: )

chest
-incline dumbells 2x15 70lbs
-hammer strength 2x12 2 plates

back
-weighted pull ups 2x8 w/ 25lb dumbell...can't seem to get more....maybe i'll use 30lbs next time and get like 6
-close grip rows 2x15 160lbs was in a zone i guess b/c i haven't pulled that much weight in about 3 years...felt great!

shoulders
-front barbell presses 1x10 145lbs
-reverse flyes 1x20 25lbs
-one arm dumbell lateral raise 1x15 30lbs
-upright rows 100lbs

arms
-seated curls 2x10 40lbs
-one arm dumbell extensions 2x15 30lbs
-cable kick backs 1x15

abs
-hanging leg raises 3x20
-rope crunches 3x15

weighed myself when i was done and the scale read 168lbs. i was 163lbs last thursday aftre the gym....so i think this bulk diet is working :) i am noticing some bloating and it's a little annoying but i'll have to deal with it for now.

I'm taking 1 about 3 times a day but when I run out I may go without for a bit.

When i have uber simple carb loaded things like my 100+ carb shake i take 2 or 3 :)

I'm really sensitive to simple carbs though.

1 per 30 grams of carbs if you find you stop gaining cut back on it and see what happens... experiment :)

Keep in mind Glucorell helps with your body's ability to use the carbs ... doesn't *poof* make them all disappear.

Basically (taken from previous posts) it "helps shuttle the carbs into your muscle cells instead of your fat cells by increasing insulin sensitivity and the uptake of glucose. This improvement in carb utilization in people with insulin resistance means that carbs and sugars are less likely to be stored as fat and will be stored more efficiently as muscle glycogen."
 
yeah i think i'm going to take them with my large carbs meals....or simple carbs meals...like i just had... chopped up filet mignon's with ramen noodles and broccoli lol

meal 1
- ON whey with milk and banana
- forgot to take my vit's :rolleyes:

meal 2
- can of tuna and 1/2 cup of oats

meal 3
- chopped up steak in oyster sauce w/ ramen noodles and broccoli :chomp:

- can of tuna and 1/2 cup of oats

PWO cardio
- ON whey with milk and banana and 1/2 cup of oats

- i'll try to keep it under 3 scoops for the anpb :p

i'm gaining weight with these macros ...around 3500 cals so i'll just keep at it!
 
ok...8lbs since last thurs....holy crap!! i can't believe how fast i put this weight on. granted there have been a few cheats like last night...had a few cookies before bed :evil: but my diet has been pretty clean....just alot more rice and oatmeal and milk. my cals went from around 2000 to about 4000...i guess you can say my body is totally shocked!

question: am i gaining this weight too fast?

todays diet

meal 1
- ON whey shake w/ 1cup of oats and milk
- multi, vit e and b12, green tea

meal 2
- 2 teriyaki chicken breasts and 1 cup of oats

****pretty stuffed right now!!!!!

Now if your appetite (isn't enough) / too much food to consume now, cut back if you like and build up your appetite slowly back to where you can eat all this food no problem.
 
JP, if you recently upped your cals as well as carbs, and added cheats, I would say alot of that 'weight' is water ... It will taper when you body gets 'use to it' ... i.e. instead up 8 lbs a week, maybe 4-5 lbs every 2-3 weeks, and so on, but it is impossible for it to be all muscle .. I'm sure you know that already. Hopefully some muscle, little fat gain, strength increases and of course water.

yeah i know there is a good deal of water and fat in that weight gain..i know it's not all muscle haha! but i can def tell my shoulders look fuller...so does my stomach but whateva....it's a fair trade off.

wow!! extremely tired today....had my fantasy football draft online and it took freaking 5 hours b/c people are retarded....anyway. not really in the mood to eat, work, or keep my eyes open....getting my meals in today is def going to be an effort :worried:

yesterday's traning log

pre-workout 10 caps amp02 ---------> going to finish the bottle and prob not order another one. not to say it wasn't good...the pumps i'm getting lately are short lasting if any and the focus seems to have dissapated :rolleyes: i'll prob go back to using my purecee since i have a shit load of it still....after that's done maybe hit up some no explode b/c i have never tried it...who knows...i'm a supplement junkie!!!

ALL SETS ARE 1 1/2 MINUTES APART
chest
- hammer strength press 2x15 2 plates
- incline flyes 2x15 30lbs

- weighted pullups used a 30lb dumbell this time....1x7, 1x5
- underhand grip rows with a staright bar 2x12 140lbs

shoulders
- dumbell presses 1x15 70lbs
- side laterals 1x15 35lbs (def cheated her a little....think i'll move down to the 30;s again even though i'll get 18-20 w/ strict form...just feels better with the 30's and that's what it's about right?)
- front raises 1x12 30lbs
- upright rows 1x12 100lbs

arms
- one arm preacher curls 2x8 35lbs
- lying extensions 2x12 90lbs

abs
- hanging leg raises
- crunches with 2 10lbs dumbells in my hand....i laid flat on my back and did sit ups and then did a 1-2 punch with the dumbells at the top of contraction.....shit that hurt alot. never tried them before and i'm glad i did them...i have no clue what they are called but i saw some girl in the gym doing it and i decided to give it a whirl :)

happy with the workout...back felt aaaaahhhh k and shoulders only hurt during chest exercises....guess that will never go away but whateva.

dr. called me back yesterday with my mri....i have degenration of the disk and now a hernia which is basically sitting on my sciatic (spell) nerve. the doc approved me for therapy and a steroid epidoral which is good and bad news i guess....my condition got worse from a year ago but i may be able to get by without the pain through therapy and the shots :) well see how that works out

Eek ... take care of your back jp! I cannot stress that enough esp since you are young. I already know your thoughts on this, but I am thinking long term, + I see my boss everyday in pain & upset b/c he can't 'workout' like he use to.

Great workout You got it right about the 30's ... IMO for you better form is a better option. :)

thx ck...but i kind of new what the doc was going to say....i mean my back kills me just bending over to pick something up...and the shooting pain in my legs were def a sign of herniated disks....oh well.

gotta look on the bright side right? there are tons of people in this world that have it tougher then i do...i consider myself privilaged and fortunate to have a great girl, the best dog in the world, great apt, and a shitty job that pays extremely well lol...what more can i ask for?

thx buns...yeah my back is my priority....not going to do anything in the gym to fakw it up or hurt it....i've checked my ego at the door with weights and leaving out certain lifts that i used to love doing ie deadlifts and bent over rows.

i have to call the doc and schedule my epidoral...little scared about a huge needle going into my spine...i'll prob cry like the sally that i am.

hey everybody....i've been MIA since last thursday...tons of things going on...not really a relaxing weekend at all but whatcha going to do right? my diet was gawd aweful...so i'm not going to even bother posting what i ate....i think i ate on avg like 4 meals a day...i managed to make it to the gym everyday except sunday though so i can't be too hard on myself. anyway summer is over ....another season gone :(...i'm going to be 28 tomorrow and i'm starting to feel old...uuugggh!! hate that feeling... :evil:

i think i got a real bad case of the mondays....except it tuesday...whateva...diet and trainging to come later. hope everyone a nice relaxing weekend :)

THat is great good for yuo! HOWEVER (you know I can't just STFU) ... I'm just lookin out jp, quick gains are nice, but gaining weight too quickly does put unnecessary stress on the body, and maybe too much unwanted 'fat' ...

Besides, I've easily eaten 1 1/2 jars before lol :evil: Then you get ideas about dumping choc. chips in there, or prezels, & then maybe vanilla ice cream ... :worried:

You need to get some flavored stuff, it will upset your stomach if you eat too much .. VERY filling.
 
no i def agree....but my problem is i put weight on alot easier then most peoplei...' i'm only taking in 3500 cals a day...nothing crazy...cutting for me on the other hand is like hell!! it's extremely hard for me to shed bf% my bulk has been mostly clean excpet for some cheat meals here and there. but they weren't even hardcore cheats...i'm going to try and just stick to oats and brown rice as my main carb sources...no cheating when it comes to that anymore!

I can easily overeat rice, oats & sweet potatoes :worried: lol

Re:cutting ... Can you do sprints? Plyowork? INTENSE HIIT? Hill/stair running?
 
i can do hiit on the elipitical.....i do 1min up and one down for 20 minutes....

i've been doing 30 minutes of treadmil on 15% incline....but sometimes i'll do hiit if i don;t have enough time to do what i want

I have much better results cutting when I stay off the machines & take it to the streets ... lol , well outdoor activities, not sure what's around you, but find & track & do some bleachers, windsprints etc... I switched to that to cut & WOW did I shred up. But I'm also an animal :D

ok..leaving work in a little while...heading to gym for some qucik cardio....prob a little HIIT...go home...shower...put on the thong song and then get crazy!!!!!

uuuggghh...feel horrible today. rocked out with my caaaack out last night til around 1:30....woke up @ 5:30 forced a shake down....so full and bloated right now i'm going to have to skip my next meal :( oh.. i think i may have polished off the rest of my b-day cake last night in bed....that may explain why i had chocolate spots all over my body this morning :chomp:
