John Ritter Died

never liked the show but rip.

He died on the set of his new show.

It makes me nervous because my dad has an aorta valve disorder (I think similar to what Arnold had surgery for) - they said Ritter had some aorta issue, but didn't eloborate in the report I heard.

My dad had a stroke from it, but I don't want him to die from it.

They said he got sick on the set and they took him to the hospital and he had a heart problem that he didnt know about. It had been untreated.....
it was a bad loss and a shocker too.

That's scary. How many people die from that? Isn't there a way to see symptoms or get treated beforehand? He seemed so healthy and was in great shape for most of his life.

They can find them easily if you go and get an MRI (I think that is the term - the big magnetic ring that they send you through).

But that is costly and many people feel claustrophobic in the old machines - so if you don't otherwise feel like you have issues with it, you don't go and say "hey, send me through that thing and charge me a lot!"

On a positive note, Mr Furley is alive and doing well in Santa Monica.

No more Regal Beagle! And glow in the dark condom fights! Man I loved that movie! Fuck! I'm pissed and sad! Face it the 70's are finally over!

Which female bodybuilder did he go to bed with in that movie? Hell, I can't even remember the name of the movie.

Unexpected aorta problem. Just dropped dead. Can people just die like that????

Yup.....unfortunately a similar undiagnosed heart problem is what killed my friend Dave. (Formerly of Drowning Pool)
No one new it was there. Like a damn sneak attack.
It's worse when you don't see it comming.

Bro don't think in that kind of death....enjoy your life...at least if we die that way, we don't suffer, don't have to take drugs, don't need pipes in your mouth and we don't make suffer to our families...That's an "olimpic" death....We just have to enjoy our lives like John Ritter did.

This comes from CNN. http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/TV/09/12/ritter.obit/index.html

"WebMD.com describes an aortic dissection as "an abnormal separation of tissues within the walls of the aorta" caused by high blood pressure, family history of the condition, disease of connective tissue, or severe trauma to the chest."

According to this article, he was rushed from the set of his show to the hospital, but surgeons couldn't save him, so he died at the hospital, not his set.
