Trained some jiu jitsu today. We did about 100 push ups and about 100 burpees.
We did some drills like hip tosses and throws. After about 45 mins of that we did full out sparring or "rolling" as we call it in jiu jitsu. After that class my body needs some recovery.
I felt good and strong today from all the squatting I've been doing. It's amazing how well squats carry over into sports. Even though jiu jitsu isn't about strength it sure couldn't hurt.
dammm 100 burpees that's gotta be damn hard. i'm sure your strength will skyrocket over the next few weeks, keep it up
