Hubby got home from a week of travelling, he's beat & I'm so sore today I don't think I could lift, so we're going out out to eat..... ah, the temptations.....So, we'll see how it goes....

6pm -- Walk to restaurant (~ 14 city blocks)
2 glasses wine, 2 coffees with liquor/whipped cream, 2 Vodka Tonics
4 baked oysters
Cod with sweet potato hash
Chocolate pyramid dessert
Some peanut M&Ms (24), handful of Hot Cheese Popcorn

Have a good time!! My bf and I are going for out for our Valentine's Day dinner on Sat. I'm soooo looking forward to it - Italian. I'm craving calamari just thinking about it. :p

Well, I'm counting last nite as our Valentine's Dinner..... :heart: It was soooo nice.....they made me a special decaf coffee drink with chocolate whipped cream..... :p Plus they had a special dessert -- a chocolate pyramid....OMG!! It was sooooooooo good -- I'm afraid to even try to remember what I ate.....LOL

Yep, the recipe is in the recipe thread...... Although I need to try it again & make some adjustments -- they are almost too dry to eat..... You need a BIG glass of water to get them down....

Yep, like Bunny said, it's a liquid coffee creamer -- the stuff I have is Fat Free French Vanilla Low Carb -- so it's 1g of sugar per serving, FF, and 2g carb per serving & 15 cals ---> for 1 tblsp.....

This is better than the other brand I was using....

I've been busy around the house today!! Fixing window molding & applying Hydraulic Water Concrete Patch to the basement walls...... Oh and the taxes have been submitted to the IRS.... :worried:

Found some curtains & rods -- my windows have rosettes at the corners instead of mitered 45 degree molding & they have holes in them, so I've got to fix them to hang the curtains..... Will take pics when done.....

Can't wait to get the email whether or not my return was accepted.... :worried:

Jencats,

They are panicking here in the DC area too! I cannot believe they closed the schools before a flake of snow fell! I lived in ny and went to college in Syracuse. I can count on one hand how many times I stayed home from school. I'm sure all of the toilet paper, milk, meat and eggs have been bought up at the supermarket.

I was talking to my mom about this the other night, and in at least 16 years of schooling (and preschool) there was only ONE snow day , and I live in Chicago burbs my whole life.

I figured out why my numbers weren't adding up. I starting using fitday.com yesterday and noticed that they deduct fiber from the total amount carbs and take that # and times it by four. I was including fiber in my number.

Good job! Yeah it would be so much easier for me to have someone take my pictures. Now that would be a cool trick to teach my dog! Yeah o.k.. I have a gift cert for Best buy maybe I can figure out how to work my camera and get a tripod or something. It's hard to try and flex, and get teh camera somewhat positioned and not look stupid...

Whenever I try to take my own pics..... all you see is flash....and if I don't use the flash, then nothing.....
 
Yeah that's why my pics sucked this week. Every time I was flexing my back to take the shot the camera would point in some odd way and then I would have to redo it. My body gets sore just from trying to take photos.... Of course the lighting sucks when I do it also... Ohhhh well.

I'm back!! And I'm tired.... figures I didn't sleep well last nite & had to get up at 5 am.... :rolleyes:

Went to a ski area that's easy for me compared to Killington -- their Black Diamond's are easier than K's Learning slope!! So I was able to ski down the slopes pretty fast but tried to make sure to work my legs.... ;)

Anyway, I'm going to log 2 hours of skiing total although I was out on the slopes for about 5....

LOL -- I did some jumps in a terrain park!! Up a snow ramp got some air & BAM! on my ass -- but I kept doing it till I got the landing!! Look out X Games, here I come!! Fun day!!
