Anyhow, for those who don't know me, I'm BigPancho, the SuperMod over at Total-Muscle and also a minority owner of the board.
I figured that since everything went down the way it did, I'd jump into the lion's den so to speak and give my thoughts and the official position of the board. And, I wanna do it out in the open here, so flame if ya want or whatever, but want to give you guys the end result because one of the parties involved is here.
Huge500 has been on our board for about 10 days. Our board is just over a month old itself. Durin' that time, we've grown pretty quick, considerin' all the choices out there. Let's face it, up until all this (and no offense), but I'd never heard of Anabolex. Just so many boards out there. Our staff has members of various experience. Example, I've been involved in all this for around 15 years, while our computer guy is on his first or second cycle.
Anyhow, due to his (Huge) status at other boards, plus his participation at our board, we granted him Vet status.
Now, let's jump to today.
I wasn't online much today due to personal commitments. One of the things of havin' a wife & kiddos I guess.
I check the board to find a major issue goin'. Apparently this guy came onto the board claimin' that the pics that one of our guys was usin' were his, not Huge's. The way our board works is that we try to maintain a "drama free" zone. Once the initial thread got out of hand, it was closed and moved to a secure forum. There, the Mods and such started researching the issue. The initial pics were honestly not conclusive enough, and one of the main issues was the scar that was present in one, but could not be seen well on the other. Our Computer admin asked for more pics, since Linux and he were in communications.
At that point, I had to go. Unfortunate, but one of those things.
When I got back, apparently all hell had broke loose. Somethin' about the shoutbox, the threads, & some bannings. I wasn't there for it all, but the new pics were. There was a much better view of the scar and of the surroundings.
Here's the deal guys. And it's really a Catch-22. If a new board was to automatically call a member who's a respected Vet/Vip on many older, established boards, and it came out to be baseless, what happens? If we don't do it immediately, well, we see what happens.
The final decision was delayed until ALL of our staff could view the pics, and a unified position could be taken. With a small board, it really can't be any other way, because somethin' like a staff disagreement will tear a new board apart.
The final decision reached by Total-Muscle is that the pictures were those of Linux. Huge500 has misrepresented himself, and has been banned from our site, with this information being passed to our brother/sister sites for their review and their own determination as a course of action.
While this may seem like a process and a decision that should have been cut and dry, it's something that we do to ensure the unity of the staff and the decisions we make.
Regardless, I felt that Linux and those that came by deserved this information, and felt that I should come to them to provide it.
