You took the words out of my mouth. A lot of Sumo wrestlers are not natural. I don't know what they take, but i am sure its whatever they can. Second, you are making a big deal about being a natural O. Listen, yes, steroids may not be the healthiest choice but if you want to be an Olympia competitor, its necessary. Even if you could get to be the size naturally going the sumo route, one, as alex said in the beginning, roids would be 100% necessary to get into contest shape. Second, you would be a lot healthier taking steroids than you would be ballooning up to 400-600 pounds with that much bodyfat. It would take several years to get up to that, so during that time period, you would be putting all organs, bones, skin, under enormous stress, your bloodpressure and chloresterol would skyrocket. Sure, steroids, especially if abused like a lot of guys do, will cause all those sides, but amazingly, to a lesser extent.

Good reply.

Lee Priest does get quite big. A lot of guys don't get that bad as they have to do guest appearance and don't need to make a bad name for their sponsers. King Kamali does not get above 16%. His big waist is more due in part to eating high volumes of food. Difference being, a lot of that food is pretty clean. Also, pros take a variety of drugs, like cytomel, etc. that help process large amounts of food. I know when i am bulking, i eat a lot and my stomach is always distended, especially by evening lol. I am sure insulin usage doesn't help some of the pros guts either. Kamali gets up to around 300-315 offseason, he competes at around 250?(a guess, haven't looked at his stats lately) So, lets see, he drops 50-60 pounds. 10% is about 30 pounds, i am sure he loses a little muscle with that during the dieting so lets say 35 pounds and than a shitload of water.

If you have seen photos of Lee Priest in the off-season, there is now way you'd say he's 12-14% bodyfat. That dude gets OBESE, seriously. Even his face is fat! I'd estimate it at about 25% minimum.

I read an interview in which he stated that he had to make sure there were certain fast food places near his new home, before he would move there. I think the list included McDonalds, Krispy Kreme, KFC... you get the picture.

I'm tempted to try this method. It beats eating fucking tuna and oatmeal.

Yeah, like i said, Lee is a case all by himself. I too have tried the eating junk thing this winter. I put on bodyfat, got stronger and very little muscle. As soon as i went to a cleaner diet, emphasizing good protein sources and good carbs, i starting adding lean muscle again. Works for some, but rarely.

SSAlexSS: Ok...I am trying to keep a calm head here...but the thought that someone 100lbs lighter than I am is arguing with me on how to get bigger...just kills me. If I had a dollar everytime someone that is 100lbs lighter than me tried to give me advice on how to get bigger...I'd have a lot less money worries in my life.

Ok...you have READ that Priest weighs 220 on stage and 300 offseason. Bodybuilding literature is some of the most made up literature known to man...almost a total myth. If Priest's waist is as big as he is tall...then he would have a 64" waist. Do you really believe this crap?

Yes...I have several pics of Priest on my computer in the offseason (the one at that seminar hitting a dbl bic pose) in his shorts and boots. He is NOT fat and not over 16% bodyfat. One looks fat if they are 175lbs and 16% bodyfat...but 16% bodyfat at 280 is not at all. If abs become present at 10% bodyfat or under...well...you should see my point. If going from ripped at 4% to barely having abs at 10% or less...is just 6% or less...then going 6% larger would be about right. He did NOT have any "rolls" around his stomach and no large love handles either.

Kamali with a 50" waist? Come on man. I'm not delusional. You mean to tell me that in the matter of 12 months he can go from a 29-34" waist to a 50" and back to a 29-34" waist? Please. Dorian has a big waist...even with abs...most bodybuilders do these days.

16% bodyfat on someone small, take note here, is fat. 16% on someone at 300lbs is NOT fat.

It probably wouldn't work the way you think. Yes you may be able to weigh 300lbs at 30% bodyfat buy your body can only hold a certain amount of muscle mass at a certain bf. For instance, Steve Reeves was looked at as the upper end of a natural athlete in terms of muscularity and size. He could have gotten bigger but he would have needed to gain more fat to maintain that kind of muscle mass.

See that king kamali pic. Pay close attention to his face and his waist. And his comp waist is atleast 35+ inches.

Have you ever seen some of lees pics? when I found it I'll post it again.... When your gut is hanging from your jeans covering your legs, its not 16% bodyfat!
