Lately when I do DL's or GoodMornings
my leg burns for a couple of days afterwards.

I know I have a sciatica nerve acting up; but
I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong?

What type of form are you using for DLs and GMs? convention vs sumo? Arched back/bent over/straight leg/bent leg/wide stance/narrow stance, etc...for GMs?

I have a problem with this on occassion too, and have been to a sport med phys about it. He did an MRI and CT...said nothing wass wrong, that it just gets inflamed when the muscle moves a certain way sometimes.

I found that doing GM's with the jumpstretch bands everyday has helped me with lower back and hip circulation and recovery.

DLs I really feel it on the conventions.
And with the GMs Arched back/bent legs/ wide and narrow stance I feel it on..

I've had it to hurt all the way down in the bottom of my foot.

So you stretch your legs and lower back each day with bands and this has helped?
I've benn taking some Advil and I know this is not a good thing.

I just stand on a jumpstretch band and loop it around my neck..then do GMs. I find that keeping fresh blood and oxygen pumping through the area helps.

The doc told me that it wasn't muscular, but that sometimes when you work the muscle, as it becomes inflated (so to speak) it can place pressure/tension on the nerve.

I think there are some pics of the band GM's and other hip "acitve recovery" moves on the sticky up top.

I don't get it as bad as some people...I think it was lil'k that was telling me it can really inhibit her lifts sometimes. Maybe she can offer some suggestions for you too. :)
