Wrong. The Democrats had all of their spending requests exceeded. When even the Democrats are trying to give the people's money back, you know you have a problem. It is a strange world when the Democrats are the party of fiscal recititude with a record of running budget surpluses and cutting government debt, and the Republicans are the spendthrifts and deficit runners, relying on "voodoo economics" in the words of George Bush Snr., to replace discipline; but when when being a conservative means what that Rush Limbaugh says it is (namely being an asshole like him), that's what you get.
