But seriously...I'd have to agree with the toxin thing....I look at em as dirty lil bottom feeders. I think SMALL amounts are ok...but in excess (as in 3lbs) would be way too much.

Shrimp are virtually fat free, so they would be a poor storage house for toxins. Most toxins are lipophilic, which generally collect in the fatty tissue and pose more of concern for fatty fish like salmon.
